Last Sun (2nd Dec '07), my dear Devona went for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2007.
It's been 6 years since she last ran in a competitive race. (She used to run very well.)
It's the first time she joined a competitive event at national level.
She is carrying an old injury on her right knee cap. (She needs to wear a knee guard.)
She only started training 2 months ago, together with me, for this event.
The longest distance we ever clocked is 7km.
She has never run half marathon (21km) before.
She has not even run 10km before!
But, she signed up for the full marathon (42km) in this event!
And she made it! She completed the full marathon!
It's an incredible achievement!

Why 42km? Because she wants to get the finisher tee, which is exclusive only for 42km runner!
To her, it is also an achievement in life.

The night before, both Devona & me couldn't sleep.
I'm not sure if is the effect from the Killney's Coffee or we were both nervous of the run.
I was worried for her because she didn't has the required rest for the run.
I also couldn't run with her because I didn't sign up for the run as I was on recall manning.
Knowing her character, she will never give up half way in the run unless she collapses!
That made me even more worried and the hot weather didn't help!
I was supposed to go home and sleep after I sent her to Padang, come back later to the finishing point to wait for her.
But then, how can I sleep when I know that she is running and I'm not sure if she is doing fine?

I went to the finishing point earlier then I planned for, to wait for her.
Time passed by while I waited anxiously for her.
The hot sun had no effect on me because the heat from the sun is no where compared to the anxiety in me. (I actually got a very bad sun burn at the end of it! I'm still in bad shape now!)
After I saw my brother Jacky came in about 7 hours and pointing to me that my dear Devona was still in the run but further back, I decided to run in the opposite direction of the run, to look for her.
An ex Pioneer colleague, Jackson, whom I met there told me that I can actually go the opposite direction of the run to look for the runner. (He mentioned that he didn't dare to approach me initially because my face has became so rounded that he wasn't sure if it was me. S***!)
As I ran in the opposite direction of the run, I found her under the bridge from Esplanade, limping her way towards the last few hundred metres.
When she saw me, tears started to fill her eyes and mine too!
I was glad to see her but I was hurt to her suffering alone.
How I wished I had ran with her.
As she reached the last 250 metres, she made a dash to the finishing points and completed her run in 7 hours and 20+ min.
My dear Devona has made it!

She mentioned that she actually started walking from the 13km mark.
She ran too fast for the first 13km following her friend, Yvonne.
They completed the first 13km in under 1 hour time leh!
She stopped to eat banana at the 13km mark, after that she slowed down.
Actually all the way till the 21km mark, she can still take it.
Is the last 21km or the last 10km to be exact, her leg had really reached the limit.
What pushes her all the way to complete the race is her strong will power and the never-say-die attitude. And one of the main reason is me! She didn't want me to wait too long for her! And also because of me, she didn't dare to push herself too much because she didn't want to collapse in the run.

My dear Devona, I'm really proud of you!
This is the best anniversary gift I've ever received! (Is our 2 years & 1 month anniversary.)
I'm also glad that my unit didn't activate the manning. I'm able to be at the finishing line when you finish the run.
I will love you forever :)
Next year will be my turn, ok?
Believe me, I can do it too..in the name of love :)

Excursion to Night Safari

[Ken & Dev waitin' for e show to begin]

Last last Fri (14th Sept), I decided to bring my dear Devona to Night Safari. I've been there once bt she has nvr go there before. She did mention to me tat she will like to go there 1 day though. It happens tat for tis mth only, there is a 50% off for admission fee to Night Safari for my NTUC Link Card (max of 5 tickets per transaction).
Well, chance! We went straight after work & reached there ard 7pm; juz in time for e 1st session of e tribal performance at e photomound.We njoyed e performance wif our dinner at e Bongo Burgers, juz in front of e photomound. The 1st thing we do when we went in e Night Safari at 8pm, was to join e queue for e 8.30pm Creatures of the Night Show at e amphitheatre. Muz get gd seat mah! Long queue oredi leh!
Pls remember to "doll up" before joinin' e queue becos u will be fotographed & u can decide if u wan to purchase e foto fr them later after e show.
Quite an interestin' show, e presenter was very gd at beatin' up e mood of e audience!
Pls be careful when comes to choosin' of seat as e animals will b very close to u for those seats! I was particular very worried tat e Binturong will fall fr e rope, lookin' at how it swung fr side to side & most imptly, so near me!
Tat's oso a few hiccups in e show as u can nvr predict when e animals will show their temper & dun behave. The Owl actually shit on one of e audience & e trainer juz couldn't get it to flew back to him!
Other then 1 particular incident which dampened my mood, seeing a "god damned" inconsiderate person who juz dun heed e presenter's warning of non usage of flashes on those animals as it will blind them! Overall, it's still quite an entertainin' show!
The show ended ard 9pm & we embarked on our walkin' journey ard e Night Safari!

We started our walk in sequential fashion, Fishin' Cat Trail, Leopard Trail & finally Forest Giants Trail. It took us almost 1 & 1/2 hr to complete e walk!
The walk was quite a spooky one! Some area were almost w/o light and sometime u heard sound & mov't in e bushes, bt u were nt sure if was fr e animal or fr..! Luckily, we went there when e 7th mth had juz passed! Phew! :)

I was particular freaked out wif e size of e Spotted Hyena! I nvr imagine it to b so huge! Lookin' thru its eye, it strikes fear thru my spine!
Another animal tat stunned me was e Giant Flying Squirrel. When I saw it flew over me, I was really really dumb folded! Evn if it came & attacked me, I will nt b able to react in time! U can get to see tis animal bt u nid to go inside a big big cage tat house it &..u hv to b patient to wait for it to "fly"!

After crossing e Bridge of Suspension, which fear factor cannot compare to e one at Kukup while my dear Devona beg to differ, we r back at e starting point. Wat a great work out!
Well, is time to pamper ourselves wif e tram ride at ard 10.30pm. Best time for tram ride becos most pple tat wanted to take, oredi took liao & therefore, no nid to fight for gd seat!
Maybe u will ask, oredi walk e whole place, still nid to waste $ to take tram meh?
Well, if u look at e map carefully, e tram actually brings u to other area tat r not accessible by foot. U can oso get very very close to e animal becos there is no barricades!
I can even touch e backside of e Malayan Tapir while it was taking it's supper!

Near, no barricade is interestin' bt oso scarely! When my dear Devona waved to e Elephant, which was e biggest animal we saw at e place, we both freaked out when we saw it comin' towards us! Imagine Jurassic Park, tis kinda of impact!
So, Tram ride is a muz! U'll regret it if u miz it!
After e ride, which was slightly over 11pm, we shop ard e Gift Shop.
Well let's face it, gift is oni for tourist, very ex! So we juz look see look see & finally we decide is time to say goodbye, at ard 11.30pm.
Total duration of excursion: 4 & 1/2 hrs
Rating for e excursion: 4 out of 5 (almost perfect if nt becos of e "tourist" price)
Some charges to take note:
Parking Fee - $3.90 per entry, no grace period!
Entrance Fee - $22 per head (got it for 2 becos of my NTUC card, hehehe!)
Tram Ride - $10 per head (can't save tis, if nt, dun tell pple u go Night Safari before)
Foto - $15 for pcs / $20 for 2 pcs (recommend to get 1 at Tram ride & 1 before Night Show)

Dempsey revisited

I & my dear Devona went to Dempsey Hill on Sat (08.09.07)..3rd time liao.
We wanted to go to some place for a drink before we head to my home for dinner.
We actually went to Sunset Way 1st; curious to see e transformation of tis place after readin' abt it in a newspaper article.
Tis place is new to her bt to me, it was a place tat i went for buffet steamboat durin' my uni days.
The verdict of tis place?..well, we ended up in Dempsey, so wat do u tink?We went to Ben & Jerry's for ice cream.
One interestin' thing, it actually shares e place wif 2 other stalls!
One is Culina Quality Food & Beverage and e other is a wine bar, which I hv no idea abt it's name.
It's one of e cheaper dinin' place there wif everything startin' fr sandwiches (lunch oni till 3.30pm by CQFB) to dessert (Ben & Jerry's) to wine & beer (e unknown wine bar).
If u r tinkin' of dinner, CQFB oni serves dinner on Fri & weekend.
Place is small so b early!..Hmm..tink hv to make reservation..so early maybe oso no use.
& oso, there is a centre stage tat probably u cn get to see some performance.
Do check out tis place!
As I mentioned earlier, we visited Dempsey 3 times.
The 2nd time we went was a weekday, Tue (21.08.07).
We went to DOME for dinner..one of e more affordable dinin' place there.
We had our dinner sittin' on a nice comfy sofa, nt shown in e pic.
Their coffee is supposed to b gd..so tis is definitely a new nice place to mit up wif frens, chit chat wif a cup of coffee; if u r tired of e usual cafe in e urban city area.
There r lot's more nice dinin' places in Dempsey, nt cheap though, which we hope to explore.

Dempsy Hill, e latest place to see & to be seen?
Tis wkend, Ah Ken kok kok felt a bit adventurous & decided to pop by tis place wif his dear Devona.
It is very near to e place tat I used to play soccer wif my ex-colleagues while in Pioneer.
Tis place looks to b headin' for big plan!
Lot's of restaurants & bar r oredi in operation, Jap, Korean & of course e Ang Moh one.
Recognized names like Ben & Jerry, DOM & Harry's r oredi there!
You cn oso find lot's of furniture shops there.
We visited e Rea Sea Gallery since I parked outside tis shop.
They hv very big paintin' tat u can't easily find elsewhere in S'pore.
Their art pcs all quite nice & unique by artists fr all over e world, includin' local too.
My dear Devona like one of e paintin' & sculpture very much!
Well, tis place has lot's of potential to b successful esp wif its' close proximity to Orchard.
I hope tis place cn be successful & all those old Britsh barracks cn b well preserved & b given a new lease of life.
Hmm..suddenly it reminds me of Gillman Village..wonder hw's tat place doin'..

Hi to all!
Long time no blog liao!
Finally hv some time to blog ;p
Tat's becos one of my major project was granted approval for MR by e customer on 27.06.07!
For those who had no idea wat is MR, it means Mass Production Release.
We r nw authorize to manufacture & ship e product to e customer.
Wif another of my mini spin off project oso comin' to an end, soon I can finally hv full focus on e other major project tat I'm oso managin' at e same time :)
Bloggin' cn soon b a mthly affair for me..fr nw on..I hope.. :D
It's realli very tough managin' ~2.5 projects & on top of tat, still hv to spend time on e preparation for e ROM, Weddin' etc.
Luckily my dear Devona did quite a lot of e preparation jobs & everything has been goin' on well, job wise & outside job & soon I will b able to contribute more :)

The biggest event of e mth is definitely e ROM wif my dear Devona on 05.06.07!
I'm still in e process of uploadin' e foto..so..ur..still hv to wait lah, paisei ;p
The quality of e foto I put in my blog is deliberately lowered by me becos e original file size is too big!
I will write in anot separate entry on tis event once I got everything ready..

Our New Home: La Casa (EC)
Tis is e pic I took when we went to e Open House on 23.06.07.
We bought a Deluxe unit: 3 + 1 (Masterbed Room, Guest Room X2 + Study Corner) facin' e pool.
Some special features are e dry & wet kitchen, e sunken bath for e Masterbed Room toilet.
Since ours is a Deluxe unit, it oredi comes wif a fridge, dishwasher, washin' machine cum dryer & oso a micro wave oven.
The facilities look great too! There r 5 pools, tennis courts, a mini football field, gym, clubhouse wif karaoke room & steam room, BBQ pits etc., based on wat I cn recall.
Feelin' more & more excited lookin' at e progress of e construction!

Movie Reviews
Despite our heavy schedule in work & outside work, we still managed to watch 3 movies!
We watched Shrek 3 on 01.06.07; e day when we went to e ROM to verify our docu.
Tis sequel I feel is juz average, nt so memorable compare to e previous.
If nt of e characters, tis movie wd hv failed miserably wif such a weak storyline.
I wd hv give 2.5 out of 5 bt becos of my dear Devona, an additional 0.5 to give it a more respectable rating of 3 out of 5. Bt somehw I feel my dear Devona njoy e Mac Shrek meal more den e movie..hmm.. ;p

The nxt movie tat we watched is Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer.
We din realli expect much fr tis movie esp e sequels of late din njoy gd reviews, tink "Spiderman 3" & "Pirates of e Carribean: At World's End" etc.
However, tis sequel turns out to b quite gd! Much better den e 1st one!
For me, I cn realli click wif e movie becos I'm oso in e mist of preparation for our Weddin' & I c a lot of similarity bet me & Mr.Fantastic!
Mr.Fantastic is juz like most guy preparin' for his weddin'..even if he is a superhero.
The guy will always say is our weddin', let's do tis 2gether..blah blah blah..
Bt at e end of e day, u will find tat he is actually spendin' most of e time doin' his own thing except e weddin' stuff! Same wif me & I noe..no excuse, sori to my dear Devona ;p
On e whole, e pace of e movie is gd & of course Silver Surfer looks cool & juz too powerful I feel.
Overall, I give 3.5 out of 5. Worth watchin'!

Tis movie realli took me by surprise!
Watched e clips a few time, e movie gave me a dark feelin' & I wasn't convince tat it will b gd.
My dear Devona tink so too.
Bt surprise surprise, it turns out to b e best movie tat I had watched tis yr!
A lot of light & funny moments tat I nvr expect fr Michael Bay's movie!
For example, Sam tot tat his dad is goin' to buy him a Porsche bt his dad, be it deliberate or not, oni juz happen to drive by e Porsche showroom & it's realli funny to c hw his dad make fun of him, haha!
Everyone will love Bumblebee after watchin' e show & he is definitely more human den human!
The CGI is very well done; e movie is very well laid out & u will nvr feel tat it actually 2hrs + long!
Is a 4 to 4.5 out of 5 for me! Thks to my bro Jacky for e complimentary tickets + popcorns + nachos + drinks; we actually wanted to give tis movie a miss!
For those who hv nt watch it, go watch it & u wun be disappointed!

Accident..again..haiz..
Tis time is hit fr behind while I was drvin' to e customer place in e mornin' on 21.06.07.
Nt so serious bt bumper still hv to replace & oni lucky thing is e other party willin' to bear e repair cost..since he is in e wrong.
One interestin' thing, look carefully at e no. plate of both cars, spot e similarity?
& oso becos of my high accident rate, AIG has refused e renewal for my motor insurance!
I still got anot case pendin' wif them!
Haiz..hope tis will b e last for a long time to come..or nvr come..no more accident..if nt my NCD will nvr grow!

05.06.07 - Kenneth & Devona ROM

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Today (05.06.07) 2.45pm at the ROM, I & my dear Devona had completed e solemnization & fr tat moment onwards, we r legally married!
We oni invite our family members & some close relatives becos we wan to keep tis as a private affair.

Sori for nt inviting all our frens bt we will nt leave ur all out for our customary wedding! :P

V.happy & glad tat we hv finally tied e knot after we've been together for slightly more den 1 & half yr.

Tis is e milestone tat we hv worked realli hard to reach; overcome lot's of obstacles along e way.

To my dear Devona, I hv swear to take care of U & U cn trust me on tat for e rest of my life!

Tis is juz one of e milestone in our life tat we hv reached 2gether & I'm sure we will achieve many more in e years to come!

I'm back..bt when will be my nxt entry?

It's been a long time since my last blog entry. I was realli and still is very caught up wif my work in Venture. On a personal level, lot's of time and energy are put into ROM, Pre Wedding, Wedding, New Home preparation etc together with my dear Devona. She too was and still is very busy wif her work as her project is movin' into Tool Issue.

I dunno izzit gd or bad tat both of us r assigned wif laptop by e company. We can bring our job home to work bt workin' past midnite at home seem to be norm for us! Again dunno izzit gd or bad, gd as in we noe tat in a way our job sh be secured, bad as in we both hv little time left to do our ROM, Pre Wedding, Wedding, New Home preparation etc., let alone mit up wif frens and ex-colleagues! Realli feel very bad tat we hv to "fly aeroplane"..haiz..paisei..

Movin' fr 2006 & into 2007, so many things had happened!

I had left Pioneer, e company tat I had worked for 8 yrs, to join Venture.
I and my dear Devona had purchased a 3+1 unit in La Casa, e supposingly last EC in S'pore.

2 of my best "gal" frens had gotten married and another of my best "gal" fren had ROM.

Juz read fr Jo's blog tat she had resigned fr Pioneer! Violet will be all alone fr nxt wk onwards. 3 of us used to lunch together when bulk of my earlier lunch buddies left Pioneer.

Well, time goes on and so must we, be it in career or personal life etc.

I and my dear Devona have oso planned out our path for e future together!

I want to wish all my frens tat tis Yr of Pig will be a fruitful one for everyone in career, lovelife, everything! Tomorrow will always be better! :)

The boys from Ipswich..witches!!!

Watched e movie "The Covenant" last Sun (05/11) at the Cathay wif my dear, Devona. We wanted, or in actual fact I was e one, to watch movie at new places like the Cathay Cineplex & GV Vivo City. We were there on e Hari Raya Puasa holi (24/10) bt there wasn't any show tat catches our eyes at tat time & we ended up drinkin' coffee at e Paradiz Centre tcc.
First, let's toke abt e movie. Wanted to write tis earlier bt I was busy lately..finally! Saw e trailer long time back, it seems interestin' at tat time & we decided to watch it when it screens. Bt sad to say, other den e final duel scene, tat's all of e "memorable" actions tat u will see in tis movie fr e trailer! Even thought it was done by e same director for e Underworld, tis movie is a diseaster fr him! The opening tune was gd! It was a song at my early uni days, is "More Human than Human" by White Zombie. Nvr seems out of time even though it was a song tat was more den 10 yrs back! Bt den, e show turns into a horribly slow movin' one! There is juz nt enough substance to carry e show thru! Other den e handsome lead actor, kinda looks like Ballack & e beautiful lead actress; plus a bit of CG effect, tis show is crap! Very wasted becos it can be a very interestin' movie bt becos of e way it was directed & e weak predictable storyline, it was quite borin' to watch! The endin' was very abrupt & it seems tat e director juz wanted to cut short & juz ends it! My rating for tis movie is 2.5 out of 5. Only watch it when u realli got nothin' left to watch! Personally for me, I wd prefer to watch e witches in Charmed rather these witches fr Ipswich! Hope I'm nt too late to rescue my frens fr catchin' tis horrible movie :pLet's toke abt the Cathay Cineplex at Handy Road. The place is very clean & spacious. We watched at e Grand Cathay & it is very clean & spacious too. Currently, maybe oni ard half of e shops r in operation. Most impt of all, watchin' movie in Cathay is e cheapest in town! We oni paid $13.50 for two on Sun afternoon, utilizin' e M1 50% discount for e 2nd ticket! W/o discount is at $9 per ticket, which is $0.50 lower den GV & Shaw! They hv other promotion too, details cn be found in their official website, http://www.cathay.com.sg. So, y pay more to watch elsewhere if u cn watch a movie cheaper & at a really clean & spacious cinema at the Cathay Cineplex!

Well, it's suppose to be a bye bye to singlehood celebration to my best fren, Madeline; she is gettin' married to e person tat she truely loves, on (10/11) at Rasa Sentosa Resort..finally! I will toke more abt her love story nxt time & I'm realli glad & happy for her! It was a really difficult road for her & finally she made it!

Another of my gd fren, Pei Nee oso gettin' marry tis yr too on (25/11)! Nt to forget oso, Buta Mei Mei, Jolin who had juz ROM on (07/10)! Heng Yee, e bdae boy on (28/10), organized tis clubbin' gatherin' at Thumper, which I'm very sure is based on Charissa's recommendation! Other den e pple mentioned above, rest of e attendee were Violet, Shirley, Huiling, Yan Keat, Chin, ES, some of Charissa & Madeline frens & me of course, wif my dear, Devona. Me & my dear, Devona went to Big O to get a bdae cake for Heng Yee. I can't give him my heart cos I oredi gave it to my dear, Devona, so I give a "heart shaped" cake instead, haha! Juz jokin'!

Is a nice gatherin' for us, all of us r ex Pioneer staff except for a few still remain in e comp, bt probably it will be better at a more quiet place so tat I no nid to shout to talk mah! Chat up wif them a bit to noe abt their latest "movement" & hw's life for them esp I hv nt met most of them for quite some times. Glad to noe tat for most of them, they r doin' fine. One thing for sure, all tat hv left Pioneer hv no regret & they will nvr go bk! Is very sad tat most of us had to leave becos it is at tis comp, we all became gd frens; bt becos of some terribly over-rated "upper level" pple, we had to leave! They always tink their management & plannin' r e best bt in actual fact, is e worst! Realli happy to noe tat everyone is doin' fine. Madeline will be goin' to be a Tai Tai! Pei Nee to be happily married soon! Jolin will be too in nxt yr! Heng Yee is njoyin' his job responsibility in Creative! Heard fr him, Cho is happy there too & together wif Melvin, Yan, Chye Keong etc. & more to come? We've got a Pioneer Alumni there! There was a Pioneer Alumni too at Flextronics too when a lot of my frens left & joined there few yrs back! Yan Keat will be startin' his new job as a design engineer nxt Mon! Of course we oso gossiped on "Ah Jo's Blog Attack Incident" & status of our ex comp's project etc. To some of them, my new comp is actually their customer! Like in e case of Jolin & Shirley, haha! Too bad they nvr kanna me; or else, it will be worst! Hehe!

Let's toke abt e place, Thumper. Juz in case for those who had no idea whr tis place is, it is located at e Gnd Floor of Goodwood Park Hotel. It had started to popularize ard late last yr even though facin' strong competition fr e new kids on e block like Momo & MOS later on, they r actually doin' fine! Even places like China Black & Madam Wong had to close shop after facin' all tis new challengers!
Frankly speakin', after visitin' e place for e 1st time, I realli can't understand wat's e hype is all abt in tis place. It is actually quite a small place & it will get very smoky when pple smoke! They hv a live band tat churns out danceable tune, some cute young babes goin' ard sellin' Tequila, there is oso a kiss a bride for $5 which I'm nt sure if is oni for tat day. They do hv a small place tat pple cn sit ard outside to njoy their drink & chat w/o e nid to raise e voice to communicate. I asked Charissa wat's so special abt tat place, her reply was tat e crowd r more mature, mainly workin' class pple; so u dun get Ah Beng or Ah Lian comin' in & she said e music is nice too!
Well, personally, is oni so so for me. Maybe I had stopped clubbin' for long time, maybe I'm gettin' old & fat? Which some of them had said! I will diet & change my dress sense de! I am still as young as before! Juz tat I nid to wear more mature due to my position in e new comp! I still play football at least once a week! Hw cn they say tat! S***! Anyway, I'll be startin' my RT in Jan '07 & I will be bk fitter, stronger & definitely younger de! :P

Captain for e nite & he truely led by example! He scored e 1st goal in e 44th min wif a deft chip! He set up Riise wif e 2nd & played a one-two wif Crouch thus resultin' e 4th goal for Liverpool FC! He is e Man of e Match & gives a timely reminder to Benitez tat he cn still cnt on him to deliver e gds! He played wif his heart & tats y he is still e darling wif e Liverpool fans! Even though he nvr fulfilled his potential at e international level for England, at least he is still doin' it at e club level & we r definitely nt complainin'! Let's njoy e video of his goal! It's painful..painful to watch hw Liverpool, e club tat I hv supported since Sec, played lately. Is time to stop e choppin' & changin'..is nt helpin'..is nt givin' e players enough time to gel on e pitch..is nt givin' e players enough time to understand one another..bascially, they dun play as a unit & last nite was e worst Liverpool performance at Old Trafford tat I'd ever seen! They nvr manage a decent effort at goal! Thru out e game, I nvr felt they cd get something out at e end of e game. Passing was wayward, defense was shaky, e link up play bet defense, midfield & up front was nt there! Individually, e players r talented bt collectively, they were very very poor! U dun expect to get anything playin' like tat at Old Trafford. If Benitez insisted on playin' Alonso & Sissoko in e middle, my suggestion is to switch e formation to 3-5-2 (wing back formation). GK: Reina ( In goal? Tis is e sms tat I sent to my dear, Devona after she celebrated my bdae wif me; 1st time officially as my gal fren..cn I oso say fiancee..future wife to be? *-) The 1st time tat I sent her hm was on 12.10.05, it is oso e 1st time tat she let a guy send her hm! Guess is oni time for us to be 2gether fr den on :)
The celebration started off wif a dinner at e Hoshigaoka, one of our fav jap restaurant tat serve nice Unagi, in Shaw Centre; got 15% discount becos is my bdae! We both ate Unagi Roll Set since we both love to eat Unagi. Their Unagi is actually one of e better one ard bt nt as gd as their Bugis Junction outlet. The best Unagi tat we had eaten so far is still at e Sushi Tei in China Square!
MY BDAE CAKE: IRISH CREAM MUD PIE FROM NYDC!!!
My dear wanted to get me a cake initially bt she cd nt get it & I oso quite against it becos we can't finish, it juz e 2 of us! In e end, I suggested Mud Pie instead & we go to e nydc at Wheellock Place. nydc has got one of e best Mud Pie in town and e oni one tat I feel cn rival them is e Mud Pie fr Coffee Club. So, my choice of e bdae cake is Irish Cream Mud Pie! For those who had no idea wat is Irish Cream, it is a cream liqueur based on Irish whiskey and made with cream and other sweeteners. A.Angie taught me to add Irish Cream to coffee & aftertat, I will always add Bailey's Irish Cream to my coffee at every chance! For those tat hv nt try it before, try it! It's realli very nice! It adds some new fragant to ur coffee!

DEATH NOTE: OPENS ON 19/10/06 IN S'PORE!!!

It's been a while since I last wrote abt e movie tat we had watched. I oso find tat it is nt so meaningful if I write it too late & e movie had oredi been taken off. Tis time I wrote abt Death Note, which we watched e sneak preview at Junction 8 GV last sat (14/10).

Imagine if u r given a notebook to write e name of e person tat u hate most; & by writin' his or her name on the notebook, he or she will die of heart attack in 40sec if e cause of death & e time of death r nt written! Who will u write?

Death Note is e notebook tat Ryuk, god of death (Shinigami), dropped in e human world so tat whoever possess e book will be able to kill any person by writtin' his or her name on e notebook thus extending e life of e god of death! Light, a extremely brillant uni undergrad, got hold of e Death Note & he acted in e name of Kira to kill criminals tat escape e punishment of e law or too leniently punished by e law. However, wat he deem as justice to e world is seem as juz plain massacre in e eye of e Law Keeper! Esp later on when he started to kill pple tat r nt criminals! To catch a genius, it take another genius & L, e mysterious detective took up e battle to hunt Kira dwn! I will nt go into details of e movie bt for those who had watched e comic, e movie stayed quite faithful to e comic except he had a gal fren, Shiori, who was nt in e comic. She played an impt part to e ending of tis 1st episode! The sequel is comin' pretty soon, it will open in Japan on 03/11/06..e Last Battle..e Last Name!

So wat do u tink? Go watch it! (Rating 3.5/5) Dun 4get to look out for e sequel becos it promises more action! Tat's wat I gathered fr e Trailer.

I'm back bloggin'! Hopefully I will do it more regularly tis time round..at least once a week.
I was askin' myself juz e other day, y do I blog? Follow e trend or too free, got nothin' to do?
Initially yes, I was juz like a kid tat wan to hv it becos everyone has it! Esp since most of young one hv it! & me refusin' to admit tat I am nt tat young anymore (I'll be 33 tis thu!), I juz hv to start a blog! I was hopin' tat I can use it to record dwn some events tat happen to me or ard me & oso use it as a channel to air my opinion on certain issues etc.
When I started goin' steady wif my Love, Devona, I oso wanted to use e blog to record dwn some of e wonderful moment tat we spent 2gether, e places we go to, e movies tat we watch, things tat we do 2gether etc. One day, she juz came to me & complained to me tat I dun write abt her anymore, or nt tat much to be exact. Tat's y it makes me sit dwn & tink, y do I blog in e 1st place? Wat do I wan to blog abt? Y is everyone sayin' tat my blog is nt interestin' anymore? Wat sh I blog abt so tat my frens will njoy readin' it & I will njoy writin' it too..hmm..well..
Mooncake or Lantern Festival? (06/10/06)
Is always a grand event when comes to tis kinda traditional festive day in my family. My dad will always cook lots of food & oso make offerings to e deities tat we prayed to in our house; not forgetting our ancesters too! Dinner is juz like Reunion dinner wif e "whole" family, which includes my dad & mum, me & Devona, Bruce & Janice, Jacky & Josephine + A.Angie & U.Jerry, eatin' 2gether. Bein' a pure Hakka family, my dad & my mum r both hakka, u will expect a few hakka dishes on e table. The best on e table for me gotta be e Yong Tau Fu tat was made by my dad. Very nice! He is realli very gd at tis! I dare say is better den any of those tat u cn eat outside! Being an almost vegetarian, I will always dig out e meat & pass it to Jacky. Tat's hw I eat e Glutinous Rice Dumpling too! There is another hakka dish but I tink is prepared by my mum, is Yu Toh Kou Rou (Yam wif Pork), another traditional hakka dish. I usually dun touch unless I hv a sudden crave for yam, tis is actually a no-no for me bt nice though. My dear liked e Roast Duck tat was bought opp our blk & esp e sauce, she put a lot in her rice, haha! I dun eat duck bt when Jacky told me is better den e current Johnson Duck, den it has to be gd! After dinner, we ate e Swensen's ice cream mooncake bought by Josephine. My dear took e durian one, Yuks! I hate durian, while I took e chewy chocolate one, Yummy! We din stay for long becos my dear is still recovin' fr her fever & cough for e past 2 days, so I sent her home rite after e last episode of e Ch 8 drama, Family Matters.
Purple Haze & Xian De Lai (07/10/06)
Wat has Purple Haze gotta do wif Xian De Lai? Actually there is no link lah, haha! Purple Haze is a Jimi Hendrix's song tat I tot of when I looked thru my window in e mornin' & saw e hazy condition. I nvr hear his version before, I oni heard Winger's version. The haze condition was worst esp ard 9pm when me & my dear were on our way to our fav steamboat buffet, Xian De Lai, e PSI hit a high of 150! My dear actually experienced difficulty in breathin' becos she is still recoverin' fr her cough. Luckily e mornin' soccer was cancelled becos majority of e guys r hvin' their exam break; the outdoor air is certainly nt suitable for excercise. Actually e haze oso reminds me of Genting; is more than 10 yrs since I last visited tat place! Realli hope tat me & my dear can go there for holi one day :)
Let's come back to our fav steamboat buffet, Xian De Lai Shanghai Cuisine. The 1st time we visited tis place at Liang Seah St. was on 08/07/06 (Sat). I still rem tat day, we were tryin' to find a place to eat Yuan Yang steamboat along Beach Rd tat area. We wanted to go to a new place tat is clean & hopefully cooling too. Most of e places were fully occupied & muz wait at least 1/2 hr! We finally decided to try tis place even though we oso nid to wait for > 1/2 hr bt e place looks cleaner den other places & oso got air-con too. We went to level 2 & it was really cooling, less noisy & more private. After visited tis place for so many times (almost once a wk!), nt surprisingly e staff & e lady boss can recognise us liao! Even though we didn't make any reservation tis time, e lady boss arranged a place at level 2 as soon as there is available table. Of course lah, we r regular customer leh!
So, wat is Yuan Yang steamboat? As e name suggested, is a steamboat wif spicy & non-spicy soup in e same pot, as shown in e pic above. We always go for e spicy wif fish & e non-spicy chicken soup becos tat is e oni combination tat I can eat, paisei :p The soup base is diff fr e others tat we had tried before esp e spicy one, is nt juz plain spicy bt tasteful too wif ingredients! There is a vast variety of items to choose fr & my dear esp like their dumplings! There is oso their special potato noodle tat she will ordered it everytime. It was 1st ordered by me bt I dun realli like it bt she liked it very much becos it is very Q! For me, I will always ordered their fish dumplings & fish glue; nt forgettin' all e tau pok, tau fu, tau tau tau, hahaha! One thing I like abt is tat we dun hv to go to a common place to get our food; juz write it on their food item list & it will be served to us! There is oso free flow of ice water! It is quite reasonably priced; for 2 persons wif no additional drink ordered, is S$45.30 (incl of GST & Service Charge). After sayin' so many gd things for them, maybe we sh ask them to give us a VIP discount card! :)
Usually at e end of it, we will always go back to Shaw Tower for a tall Java Chip Frappuccino, our fav coffee at e moment, & some chat at StarBucks before I sent her home. Juz in case for those who dunno, Shaw Tower parking is $1 per entry after 1pm on weekend! Tat's y I usually park there if we go there on weekend.

TCS Actor Elvin Ng joined us for soccer!!!

Yup! He played soccer wif us tis morning (Sat) in NUS! For those who had watched Ch 8 TV Drama Love at 0 degree C, u sh noe who he is. He is e guy tat Rui En finally chose in e end, I oso supported tis ending. Anyway, why & how come he played soccer wif us?
Usually we play at Kismis Avenue every Sat morning. Bt today, we decided to play at NUS instead. The guys juz wanted to hv a change on e place tat we play soccer once in a while.
When we restart our game after e 1st break, suddenly I find my team wif a new player. At 1st look, I tot he was Nick, my ex-colleague fr Pioneer, they both look very alike in term of their look, e way they speak & even e tone of their speech! Bt when I looked closer, den I realised he was Elvin Ng, e TCS actor! Of course Elvin is more good looking & well-built lah; he is oso a model leh!
He asked to join us for soccer & of course we always welcome, whether if he is a celebrity or not.
Well, he can play soccer leh! He showed some nice touches & contributed wif a few long shots & nice passes too! He kinda helping me at e right side of defence.
Our guys oso kinda go easy on him a bit becos we dun wan to injure him & break e heart of many young gals in Spore!
For those who played soccer wif me, u will noe tat I usually play topless. Even though my body isn't tat great as it was before, haiz! Bt I kinda regret tis time esp when Elvin oso took off his top showcasting his 6 packs! No wonder gals go gaga over him! He has nice bod & gd look! He looks better den on TV!

Sori! tis is a post dated one. Wanted to write tis earlier bt due to ur..hmm.. haha! Lazy lah! Nw den I write ;p
Abt 1/2 yr since my most memorable & most impt reservist of my life, I finally kana called up again for ICT fr 10/07/06 to 21/07/06.
I cn still vividly rem fr my last reservist, hw I slowly change fr telling pple tat after book out, I am goin' to mit my "fren" to telling pple tat I am goin' to mit my "girlfren"! Tis time round, I cn proudly say tat I am goin' to mit my girlfren, my dear lovely Devona!
The reservist came at a right time becos I had juz tendered my resignation. By e time I came back fr my reservist & later on Bintan trip which I will talk abt it in e nxt blog, I oni left 2 days in Pioneer! If I dun go for reservist & cont' workin' in e company, I dun tink I cn motivate myself to work hard & I dun wan to let my standard slip too much when I leave e company. Anyway, let's talk abt e reservist lah..
Tis is e 1st time tat I came for ICT wif my new rank 3rd Seargent. I was promoted when I completed my MP Specs II Course durin' tat most impt reservist of my life. Bt..in reservist, being a specialist is e worst u cn ask for!
U r stuck in bet e men & e officers! Suddenly I found myself got so many extra responsibilities! For eg, we had live firin' at SAFTI Range. All e men after finish their shootin', they cn relax, sleep, chit chat, makan, watch TV etc.. Bt for me, juz becos I'm a specialist nw, I got extra duties! I'm appointed e PIC for arms clearin', I got to clear each detail when they came back fr their shoot. I can't relax, I can't sleep leh!!! & for some reason, I believe my Unit muz have made a mistake; they r sendin' me for MP Specs I Course end of tis yr! Tis a course for CSM & Platoon Seargent leh! Upon completion of e course, I will be promoted again leh! Hey! Hey! I am NSMen leh! I am reservist leh! Which mean they r goin' to promote me every year leh! I muz be damn gd or they tink I sh be signin' on in e Army! Anyway, I appealin' to my Unit liao..hopefully, wif my finger crossed, I wun be goin' for tis yr end course.
Durin' tis ICT, there is a really memoriable event for me. I am makin' my actin' debut in a short film! Y got such thing?
Aiya! Nwadays, Army oso operates juz like a company. They oso hv their values, missions & goals. We r suppose to come out wif a short performance to illustrate L.I.V.E. L as in Leadership & Learning, I as in Image & Identity, V as in Values & E as in Positive Army Experience.
Our CSM came up wif e idea of makin' a short film to illustrate e diff exp by 2 Private soldiers, one of course is e gd exp & e other one is e bad one lah! 1st part show Private Beng kana pushed ard, punished by his "bad" Platoon Seargent. "bad" PC & "bad" CSM juz becos he wanted to take 2 days compassionate leave due to his grandmum critically ill. On e other hand, Private Ismil in e same situation bt he was treated differently & nicer by his "more humane" Platoon Seargent. My role is e "bad" Platoon Seargent! It is a very difficult role for me becos I am actually a very nice guy in nature mah :) I nid to shout & scream at my men & tis is really nt my style!
So..do u all wan to c Kenneth Loh e actor debut on e big screen? Wan to c mah? For a few lucky pple tat went to Melvin's place to c his baby together wif me & my dear Devona, they r "treated" wif tis short film tat shortcast my debut act! I oso realli wanted to share on my blog for all my frens to c..it is really very funny & I'm sure it will be heavily downloaded, I'm sure! Becos it is so funny & so close to us! Too bad e baby is too small to c, if nt I'm sure he will wan it to be replayed & replayed & replayed, haha! So unless I cn find hw to put tis short film on my blog or maybe someone cn teach me. The file size is big, 105Mb & e length of e film is 7min 19sec; tat make it difficult for me to put it on my blog. If anyone cn help me on tis, pls help ok?

I QUIT..

On 05 Jul 2006 8:30am, I placed one letter on my Div Hd, Takayama san's table & another on HR Dept Hd, Lay Lian's table. I have tendered my resignation from Pioneer..
8 yrs..tat's hw long I've been in tis company! It is equivalent to e time spent for Pri Sch + JC or Sec Sch + Uni! Tis is my 1st job & nvr do I expect tat I will stay on for so long & finally decided to leave after so long!
I joined Pioneer on 30 Jun 1998. Durin' tat time, it was economic crisis! It was very difficult to get a job, let alone gd pay! I was very grateful tat Pioneer offered me e post of a Mechanical Design Engineer. I din really noe wat to expect initially when I joined e company bt as time goes by, I grew more & more fond of tis job! I find tat tis job is juz perfect for me! I love tis job!
3 mths later, I was given e chance to do OJT in Japan at our Tokorozawa factory for close to 1 yr. Becos of tis, I was bonded for 3 yrs. I was alright wif tat becos I tink I hv found my dream job & I dun tink I will leave tis company.

So, why do I leave when I seem so happy wif everything?
I used to be happy. Even when I nid to work overnite til nxt day afternoon, work non-stop for a mth wif no weekend break! I'm still happy becos..I hv a grp of nice, helpful colleagues whom I considered as frens to fall back on! We work together, we eat together when OT, we go clubbin' together..we r nvr short of activities even though we r so busy & tis in turn resulted our bonding to be very strong! So when e going gets tough, we help each other out.
Bt due to a change tat happened 2 yrs ago, tis triggered a series of resignation of my best working buddies. The going juz get tougher & tougher & it seems no end & one by one, my frens juz left. It really pained me tat most of them dun wan to leave bt they hv no choice becos of e situation in our div/dept. After almost all of my frens hv gone, e push factor for me to get out of tis company juz get stronger & stronger! Finally, I made e same choice too.

I've got to admit tat it is nvr easy, REALLY nvr easy to leave a company tat I hv worked for 8 yrs. I've got loads of memories workin' in tis company be it gd or bad. I am basically quite a sentimental person, someone tat value frenship above everything else..of course nw, my love, Devona is top on e list! So wif most of my frens oredi gone, includin' my love, Devona who tendered her resignation on 30 Jun 2006, juz last fri. There is really nothin' to hold me back fr stayin' in tis company anymore.

I've oredi found a new job; better pay of course. Even though I may nid to prove myself all over again; bt e opportunity of workin' in a whole new environment & facin' wif new challenge pose to me fr e company tat I will be joinin', I've decided to quite Pioneer.
I've had a long chat wif my Div Hd, Takayama san & HR Dept Hd, Lay Lian & they realised tat I'm really bent on leavin' & there's no way tat they cn persuade me to stay. I was very firm! I'm sad to leave bt I noe, tis may be e last chance tat I cn leave becos aftertat, I may nt be able to move esp when I get older.

I am very sad to leave becos I've developed strong feeling for Pioneer & it has grew to become a part of me! I wan to thank Takayama san, Nishiguchi san & Matsunaga san for guidin' me to be wat I am nw. Even though I left, Pioneer will always hv a place in my heart..farewell..

Hey to all my frens! Sori I MIA again..many troubles wif my job, car accident again (Yup! Again!) & many many more.. Gd news is tat by end of nxt week before I go for my reservist, I sh settled all those issues tat hv been botherin' me for e past few mths & I will be able to update my blog regularly again!
Wanted to write abt e World Cup earlier, before e start of e tournament bt I realli can't fork out e time! Anyway, I will start off wif e Quarter Final mtg bet e host Germany & Argentina bah!
Germany: They hv realli surprised me & I believe even their own countrymen tat they hv come so far & they played better as e tournament goes! Esp seein' hw they were crashed by e Azzurri 4-1 in a friendly back in March! Bt e youthful defence made up of Lahm (LB), Friedrich (RB), Mertesacker (CB) & Metzelder (CB) wif Lehmann in goal, they hv nt let in a goal since e openin' game against Costa Rica! Ballack hv recovered & put in some stunnin' performance fr midfield. Schweinsteiger & Podolski are 2 of e youngster tat hv impressed me very much fr Midfield & Attack respectively. Klose is bangin' in e goals juz like e last World Cup, Frings is doin' all e dirty job in midfield & Schneider is still playin' well on e flank! Tis German team cannot be taken lightly even though most of e veteran fr last World Cup are no longer ard!
Argentina: One of e hot fav of e tournament! They looked invincible in e 6-0 demolition of Serbia and Montenegro! Esp e 2nd goal by Cambiasso; they hv made over 20 passes before puttin' e ball into e net! Tis is one of e best goal of e tournament for me! Bt there's a worry tat they hv peaked too fast becos their last game against Mexico wasn't tat convincin' even though they finally won it in extra time wif a thunderous strike fr Rodriguez. However they do hv strength in depth in Messi & Tevez; both are highly rated young players tat cn make a difference when they come on as a sub. Crespo is scorin', Saviola is playin' much much better than for his club & wif their no.10, Riquelme pullin' e strings fr midfield, tis team is definitely a force to be reckon wif!
The Quarter Final game wif Germany will be a midfield duel bet Ballack & Riquelme! Tis will be a very tight game. My heart says Argentina bt my head goes to Germany. My guess mah, Germany 2 Argentina 1.

Flashback 03: Movie Review

Another one of those flashback, tis time is movie review. Juz wan to write abt e movies tat me & my Love, Devona had watched 2gether. Watched Da Vinci Code at Lido on mon (22/05). Is one of e better movie tat we hd watched tis yr. Pple told us tat e movie is nt as gd as e book bt since we both hv nt read e book & wif no real high expectation on e movie, e movie turned out really gd for us! The pace of e movie is juz nice even though is 2 & 1/2 hr bt we dun feel it long! I din watch tis movie becos of Tom Hanks, I'm nt a big fan of him. I've nt watched any of his movie since Forrest Gump! I'm more interested in wat make tis movie & e book tat e movie was based on, created such a storm all over e world esp to e Christian! After finish watchin' e movie, finally I understand y. As metioned in e movie, Mary was pregnant wif Jesus child before he was put to death & e bloodline still carry on. Mary was oso kinda chosen by Jesus to take over him and many many more. I'm actually quite impressed by hw Dan Brown linked by Da Vinci's work & wrote a fictional story out of it! Any movie tat touches on religion muz be prepared to be challenged. Esp if it tells a totally different story fr wat e followers of e religion believe in! Well, it's oni a movie, juz free ur mind & njoy e movie lah ;p Tis movie is highly recommended!!! Go watch it!!! (4 star out of 5)Watched M:i:III at Lido on my dear Devona's birthday, (10/05)! Will talked abt e birthday celebration I had wif her in a later blog entry ;p The movie started off wif Tom Cruise & his wife both chained up wif e bad guy threatened to kill Tom Cruise's wife if he dun give him e "real" rabbit foot! Is really a straight forward action movie; u dun really hv to crack ur brain to understand e plot. Is nt as gd as his previous M:i bt overall, is still a gd movie to go for if u juz wan to relax & give ur brain a rest. Definitely better den e upcomin' new Bond movie! Saw glimps of e new Bond movie, uh..better dun waste ur money. So for M:i:III, cn watch lah, if u really wan to watch a movie & be entertained. (3+0.5 star out of 5, +0.5 becos is Tom Cruise) Watched Daisy "premier" at Prince on wed (12/04). The tickets were given to us by Jo & Violet & I still owe them ice cream for tis until nw. Will definitely treat nxt mth ok? ;p We get to c Jeon Ji Hyun, e sassy gal in person! Even though is quite a distance fr e stage. Actually my dear Devona is more interested in Jeong Woo-seong, e professional killer in e movie. She came to noe abt him fr his previous movie, A Moment to Remember & she has become his fan since! Nw let's talk abt tis movie, e director of tis movie previously directed Initial D starrin' Jay Chou. So if u tink tis is an action-packed movie, den u r wrong! Tis is actually a really touchin' love story! It actually moved us close to our tears! The killer placed a pot of daisy in front of e gal's store at 4pm everyday bt he nvr let e gal c his face. Tis is his way of showin' his love for a gal tat he love bt can't love becos he is a killer. He still cont' to stand by her side even though she mistook wat he had done to be e work of another person, e detective. When she finally realised e person tat hv been protectin' her, lookin' over her, carin' over her wif all his love is actually e killer, she died in his arm after she blocked a bullet fr him nt long aftertat! Their time of realisation was so short & tragic! Haiz, tats Korean movie..sad endin'.. Tis is really a nice movie, different kinda love story, gd for couple to watch! Bt I dun tink is showin' anymore. (4 star out of 5 for love catogory)Watched Underworld Evolution at Marina on a sun (05/03). Tis movie we watched in March so I can't really recall most of it liao. We both din watch e previous sequel bt becos of all e flashbacks in e movie, u dun really hv to watch e previous sequel in order to fully understand e movie. Tis movie is almost e same as M:i:III, straight forward action movie bt kinda gruesome in some scenes. The attractive part of tis movie is all e special effect & e fight scene. Cinema is definitely nt showin' it anymore bt X Men III is here! It sh be better bt I hv got some negative comment fr pple tat hv watch it..sh watch or sh nt watch? Tat is e question..hmm.. Anyway, tis movie still get a (3 star out of 5) fr me:)

There r lots of nice movies opened lately & comin' soon too! X Men III starts tis wk & it sh nt be too bad lah. Over the Hedge, nw showin', seem like a gd one too! It reminds me of Chicken Little ;p Movies tat I'll be eagly waitin' for to watch r Silent Hill, Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift & Superman Returns. I will again give my comment after I watch these movies bah! Tat's all for nw bah :)

Flashback 02: 6 Month Anniversary!!!

02/05/06 (Tue) is our 6 Month Anniversary! 6 mths..seem so short bt most pple will be amazed at e progress of our relationship! Includin' both our parents! In tis month of May, so much had happened, so many impt decisions to be made, e stress & pressure undertake by both of us is tremendous! Is really a very tirin' mth for both of us wif so many things comin' to us at one time! Tat's y on tis special day, even though is a company holi, we can't realli njoy becos we r buzy movin' fr places to places. Buzy wif wat mah..can't tell yet bt when e time is ripe, I will tell for sure! Bt we did go to a new place, Oishi Japanese Pizza in Thompson to hv our dinner for tis special occasion. Hope when e nxt Anni comes, we both be able to celebrate wif no worries! Oni got one thing to say to my dear, Devona. We've been 2gether for 6 mths liao. In terms of way of doin' things, makin' decisions, charactor etc., definitely there'll be differences. Nw, wif better understandin' of each other charactor & behavior, I'm 100% sure tat e future is definitely bright for us! Love U Always & Forever :)

Flashback 01: 5 Month Anniversary!!!

Alright folks! Tis will be 1st of e flashbacks & of course e rest will be comin' up soon!
On 2nd of April (Sun), is our 5 month anniversary. Even though is a Sun but I cn oni meet her in e afternoon becos I will still be in M'sia in e mornin'! I went there on Fri wif my parents for Qing Ming. Even though is a long journey back bt noein' tat I cn c soon her after nt seein' her for 2 days, it wiped away e tireness in me! After I dropped my parents off at our house, I went straight to town to meet my dear, Devona! I drove 375 km, ard 4 hrs of drivin' to meet my gal!
We took Photo Card tis time round at Hereen after we had a drink at Mose Burger. We decided to go to a new place to celebrate tis special day, so we went to e Bakerzin in Paragon for our dinner. Is juz talkin' & window shoppin' for us bt it doesn't really matter wat we r doin' becos e most impt thing is, we r 2gether to celebrate tis special day! Hmm..got some interestin' feedback fr "God" when I was in M'sia..wat izzit mah..hmm..secret for nw..bt of course I told her abt it lah, haha!

Liverpool is 2006 FA Cup Winner!!!
Liverpool played West Ham in Cardiff Millenium Stadium on 13/05 (Sat) in e 2006 FA Cup Final. I watched it "live" & being a Liverpool fan, is almost like Instanbul all over again!
Liverpool started e game in a 4-5-1 formation, wif Crouch as e lone striker supported on e flank by Kewell & Cisse. Gerard, Alonso & Sissoko complete e midfield wif e backline of Carragher, Hyppia, Riise & Finnan (e 1st choice defense tat boost e 2nd best defensive record in e Premier League) & Reina, winner of e Golden Glove award for keepin' e most clean sheet tis season, in goal.
West Ham on e other hand is 6 places below Liverpool in e League & a massive 27 pts behind Liverpool! So on paper, West Ham doesn't hv a chance against Liverpool, who had beaten them home & away tis season bt..bt..when come to FA Cup, anything can happen! Juz like in e 1988 FA Cup, Liverpool mysteriously lost to Wimbledon, e Crazy Gang led by Dennis Wise!
Liverpool was 2-nil dwn at e half hour mark after a Carragher own goal, he used to be famous for tat, & a Reina spilled over, fr Etherington shot, tat allowed Ashton to take advantage of. Crouch put e ball in e net soon aftertat bt was ruled offside. Cisse did score later on wif a scissor kick off a Gerard's long pass to keep Liverpool in e game. Wat happen to e normally ever so reliable defense & goalie? It was lucky tat e scoreline stayed 1-2 at half time becos e pacy Hammers were givin' e slow backline lots of trouble fr e flanks!
Gerard smashed home e equaliser 10 min into 2nd half bt Liverpool fell behind again fr a freak goal by Konchesky. His intended cross sailed over e Reina & into e net after e keeper was caught out of position!
As e game goes into injury time, e Hammers seem to hv e Cup in their hands bt Gerard popped up wif one of e best goal in 2006, a long thunderous strike fr 35 yards out tat give Hislop no chance at all! Liverpool is levelled again!!! The whole stadium is screamin' & so am I!!!
The Hammers almost got e score winner thru Harewood in e 2nd half of extra time bt it fell to his cramped leg & he fluffed it! It brought back e memory of 2005 Champions League Final when Shevchenko missed e chance to win it in e extra time too! So when e game went into extra time, I noe there will oni be one winner & tat is Liverpool & it is!!!
Wat a performance by capt Gerard & he fully deserved e Man of e Match Award! Is great to sign off e season wif a trophy bt it is oso a gd warnin' sign to Benitez tat e backline nid some reinforcement & so is e frontline. Morientes cn go, Cisse cn be sold becos he cn still fetch a gd price & he dun really live up to his 14 millon pound price tag. Dun be surprise tat e cup final sick chicken, 2nd time liao, Kewell be shown e door & so r e likes of Hamann & other fringe players tat wan regular 1st team football.
Lookin' forward to nxt season Premier League & hope tat we cn better e 3rd position tis season & close e gap on Chelsea. Wheras for now, is 2006 World Cup in Germany!!! Goal Goal Goal!!!

4 Month Anniversary!!!

On 2nd Mar 2006 (Thu), is e 4 month Anniversary for my Love, Devona and me! Is a post dated blog bt juz wan to "report" on wat we did, whr we go on tis special day..
We din take leave on e day bt we juz make sure..or actually me..tat we dun OT! After we left office, We headed dwn to Orchard Cineleisure immediately! We went to take neon print photo again! Ever since last time we took it durin' V Day, my dear Devona was hooked on tis thing! Tis time round, we r more expert liao! We managed to work within e time limit to choose e photo, decorate e photo & we r more ready to poss for e camera etc..!
Aftertat is dinnertime at Swensen's juz below Crown Prince Hotel! Tis is e 3rd time I came here wif my dear Devona. 1st time, it was a celebration cum welcome dinner on 24th Jun '05 (Fri). To celebrate my design group Vertical design complete & oso a welcome dinner for my dear, Devona. 2nd time, we went there for dinner on a 21st Oct '05 (Fri). For those tat followed my blog, u sh noe tat we r nt 2gether yet at tat time. 1st time at Swensen's, we r juz colleague & I was her mentor at tat time. 2nd time at Swensen's, even though we r nt 2gether bt..we r oredi both sinkin' deeper deeper into our Pool of Love! So..even though is e 3rd time we came to tis Swensen's, is actually our 1st time to go there as a couple!
Nw..we r approachin' our 5 month Anniversary! Bt I will be in M'sia for Qing Ming..bt I sh be backed by mid noon! Sori I'll be late bt I will still mit u! Even though I can't be wif u everyday..bt in my heart & in ur heart too, u r always wif me & I am always wif u! Love U Always & Forever, fr ur "playful" honey :)

2006 V Day Special!!!

2006 14th of Feb
Me & My Love, Devona celebrate our 1st V Day 2gether! We both took leave to celebrate tis special day 2gether!
I wear e Le Coq Sportif T-Shirt she bought for me & she wear a really nice dress tat she actually tot of wearin' to our comp D&D.
I picked her up at her place at 10am bt before tat, I picked up e 9 stalks of rose I ordered few days back near my place. Is a nice surpise for her becos she dun expect me to buy rose, I'm supposed to be "niao" haha! At most she expect 1 bt I gave her 9 leh!!!

Present No.1 fr KeN: My 9 stalks of rose represents Forever in Love, my Dear! Present No.2 fr KeN: Photo Album cum Photo Frame of our stories so far..
Tis 2nd present is actually quite a rush job, I wanted to do more "big" & "fanciful" bt I can't find e right ingredients bt e Photo Album is quite unqiue becos it cn placed upright juz like a Photo Frame! I hv oso included our photo durin' our comp D&D & e Kukup trip, our 1st overseas trip 2gether leh! I gave her tat so tat she cn see pics of us 2gether whenever she wan at home..
I hv oso included a V Day card for her!
So..wat did she get fr me?
Present No.1 fr Dev: Armani Exchange Name Card Holder Present No.2 fr Dev: Pillow sewed wif e Precious Tots cross stich done by her! The name card holder tat I was usin' previously was quite ugly so she bought a real nice name card holder for me! My Dear is always so totful & observant!
Bt e best gift of e day is e cross stich she did! It was very very nice! She spent many late nites to do it, I was very very touched becos it is a really difficult job for her! The meanin' of e Precious Tots cross stich is but love will go on forever.. She wanted to make a pillow for me so tat I cn slp on it durin' lunch time! Very very sweet of her! I love it very very much! I nvr brin' it to office, nt even placed it in my car becos I dun anyone else to touch it other den me! I placed it by e side of my bed so I cn see every nite before I slp! I dun even dare to slp wif it becos I wori my saliva will stain it.
After we exchanged our gifts, we headed dwn to Paragon, our inital plan; bt I actually got other plan so I was quite glad tat our initial plan wasn't available. So we go to my Programme No.1: Karaoke wif breakfast at e K Box Cineleisure!
The purpose is to sing all e latest love songs to her & songs tat hold great memory durin' our time 2gether! Esp Yida's Na Nu Hai Dui Wo Shuo, becos I stole her heart..juz like one of e verse in e song! I oso sang Wang Li Hong's kiss goodbye becos tis song best describe my feelin' when I nid to send her home everytime I go out wif her! If oni we had our own home & I finally no nid to send her home bt we both go back to our home.. For her, it has to be Yang Chen Ling's Ai Mei becos in e initial stage, tis song really sums up her feelin' of whether if there is really anything between us, hw sh she carry on, go forward or..etc. Bt..Bt..is my singin' of Jay Chou's Huo Yuan Jia tat really amazed her! I sang both e rap & e opera parts & it was actually quite gd! Even her gd fren He Ning oso said is gd even though she hate to admit it! Haha!
Programme No.2: Photo takin' Session! I always wanted to take neon print wif her so we went to take at Cineleisure. It's been a long time since we both take tis kinda pic, we nvr take 2gether before; it was very complicated for both of us bt e quality of e pic turned out really really gd! Juz like those taken in e Studio! It seem my dear Devona is suddenly hooked on tis! We went over to Hereen to take again! Bt tis time, we take pic card! It is very nice too wif free lamination! I'm sure we will be takin' many more of tis nxt time, haha! We went to e Coffee Club at Paragon for a afternoon tea before we take our dinner bt something happened! The waitress accidentaily poured my hot coffee onto my dear Devona's dress! It almost spoilt our V Day bt luckily her dress is dark in color so it was nt tat obvious & luckily e rose nvr kana! They very apologetic & they waived off our bill & even offered to wash e dress. Luckily it din dampen our mood..oni tat, we both said tat we sh hv ordered more, haha!
Finally is dinnertime! Our 1st V Day dinner is at e Maestro Bistro in Cineleisure. We din book any place becos most of e places we went to, their fix menu dun really suit me, sorry dear! It was very lucky tat we juz happened to see tis place & e food they offered is ok for me!Take a look at e dessert, is esp made for V Day! The food was gd bt most impt of all, is our 1st V Day Dinner, tat make it extra special!
Is still early so we went walk walk along Orchard. You cn see many couples on e street, almost every couples hv rose or soft toy! Luckily I got buy rose, if nt I tink is better nt to walk along Orchard becos ur gal will feel no face leh! At least my dear cn walk wif head high high, proud proud & me too! Haha! The final present from me to her is e Coach keychain! I bought it at DFS & e design of e keychain is very uinque becos it cn hold 2 photos & e photo tat we took at Cineleisure is juz nice to put it in! Aftertat, finally is time for me to send my dear, Devona home.
A memoriable V Day for both of us & I'm sure I will rem it for life. Juz wan to say to my Love, Devona, I may nt treat u e best as u like, I may nt be as romantic as u like, I may nt be as observant or totful as u like, I may seem like a person wif no emotion bt I juz wan u to noe one thing, tat is my Love for U will nvr change & I will love u always & forever..til e end of time :)

3 Month Anniversary!!!

2nd Feb 06 is e 3 mth Anniversary for My Dear, Devona & me! So many things had happened durin' these 3 mths.. The annoucement, the parent mtg session durin' CNY, the frens gathering session, the 1st overseas trip, the sad moments arise fr misunderstandings & other issues, the happy moments tat we hv shared, the place tat we hv visited, so many many more.. We seem to hv been together for very long, yet we r oni 3 mths into tis relationship & we actually still hv many things tat we nid to hv common understanding. Is always easy to start a relationship bt to maintain it, it really nid to take a lot of "Muo Lian" & continual learning & understanding of each other. I am still learning even nw! At least I realised tat all gals r e same, they always dun mean wat they say. Even though they say no, bt in their heart is yes! & as e relationship develops, e expectation fr each other oso increase! Even though it was nt an issue initially! Is gd tat all these had been ironed out, talked it out before it get too..! I hv nvr been so serious in a relationship before so I really cherish tis relationship & I wan it to hv a happy outcome! If I can at least maintain or better still improve, I'm sure e future is definitely bright for us!
On tis special day, we went to e turQuoise Room in Gillman Village to hv our romantic dinner on a comfortable sofa! We noe of tis dining place when we went to Otori e last time round. We oredi "Biou" tat sofa at tat time! Tis restaurant is very new; they hv oni started their operation abt 1 & 1/2 weeks ago! They oso had another outlet in e East. The service is gd given tat it is a new place & nt many patrons, probably becos is new. The service is top class, e air is clean & fresh becos we r seated juz facing e plantation. Is almost like we r holiday in some getaway resort! Really relaxed & we really took our time to hv our meal becos it was really very comfortable! When we supposed to leave tis place, here comes e Surprise! I actually prepared a gift for my Dear, Devona! She totally nvr expected it! I gave her a hairdryer! Happy Chinese New Year to all my frens! This is e Year of e Dog. Is nt gd for those whom were born durin' e Year of Dog, Goat, Ox & worst for Dragon. So for all whom belong to these catogories, pls pray to "Tai Sui", is impt!
"Chu Yi" - 29/01: Tis is e 1st time I pay visit to a gf's house! Really! After livin' for 32 yrs in tis world, 1st time leh! Can u imagine hw nervous I am? Hw sh I behave to be appropriate? Wat if her parents dun like me etc.. Many many Wat Ifs..I really scare leh! I hv nvr done it before leh! My dear, Devona actually said tat she is more nervous den me becos tis is oso e 1st time tat she bring a bf home! She is freaking out too! All those "Gao Xiao" opening speeches & actions tat I demo to her freak her out even more! Haha! ;p I reached her place at 3pm, her mum, sis & bro-in law were sort of waiting oredi. I was unusually Un-Ken..very uh..fake? I was very polite, courteous, very silent, dun dare to move abt, esp scare to mention tat I wan to go toilet becos..haha! Her dad was playing majong at her Aunt's place so he was nt ard. After a while, her sis & bro-in law went back to their home so Devona & me oso went over to take a look at their "classly" decorated home! Phew! Get away for a while, at least pull thru e 1st hurdle bah! Over at her sis's place, it is really a nicely decorated, spanky clean apartment! The view fr e master bedroom is really nice! The shape of tat room really left a lasting impression in my mind! Go thru their wedding photo shoot & their X'mas Korean trip juz last yr. They did an overseas shoot in New Zealand and a local shoot. The overseas photo shoot is really very very nice! I oso wan overseas shoot! Oops bt I gotta do e necessary thing 1st..many pple oredi teasing me tat I sh get e sequence right, including my Dear, Devona! Haha! We went Mac to prepare ourselves again before we went back to Devona's home. Finally, I got to meet her dad, a man wif few words bt I was really happy wif his attitude towards me becos I feared e worst! He talked to me leh! Talk leh, u noe! I was very worried tat he oredi had bad impression on me becos he prepared e dinner & before tat my Dear, Devona oredi tell him wat I dun eat..which happen to be a lot! Paisei ;p Finally, finished e dinner & almost come to e end of e whole episode bt there is a twist! Suddenly, I was invited to play majong wif her dad, her sis & bro-in law! Really nvr expected it! I was avoidin' to play majong all e while in Kukup bt suddenly, I'm playin' majong wif her family! Friendly though, no money involved! Her dad muz be laughin' inside while playin' wif us, e young amateurs! Of course her dad won most of e time. Her sis won a few bt her bro-in law din win at all & e oni time tat he cn win, I won becos I was faster, tats all! Paisei ;p Her sis was very happy after e majong session becos she had beated her hubby! Well, e majong session really make me feel at home & relaxed a bit. I left her place ard 9+ after we went for a stroll ard her area. Tis is really an interestin' & encouragin' visit to her home, at least I cn feel tat their family dun detest me, tat is gd enough for me liao! Yeah! So my dear, Devona! Hw's my performance? Nt bad lah hor except a bit fake & un-Ken tat's all! :)
"Chu San" - 31/01: Is my dear, Devona's turn to visit my home! She was nervous & freaking out too becos tis is her 1st visit to a bf's home! I was more relaxed even though she is e 1st gal tat I bring home to show my family! Well I was too relaxed which maybe caused a bit of misunderstanding..well lesson learned, muz always call when come to arrangement of time to meet, Sori! My family of course hv nothin' bad against her, they are more den happy tat I finally bring a gf back after 32 yrs! Of course my dear, Devona is so likeable tat nvr I once believe tat there will be a problem wif her when my family see her! Showed her some of my old photos..some really "ugly"..pls dun rem them! Erase fr ur memory, ok? Haha! We passed by everything smoothly, e lunch too! Ok No Problem! :) Aftertat, I went to her house to "lou hei" wif her family. Her dad prepared very nice dishes, very nice of him becos I cn eat of all e dishes except e soup. I was really glad & touched :) Even though e portion of rice given to me was "huge" becos her sis was helpin' her to get back on me regarding e morning incident! We went for a walk ard her area again & tis time, we bumped into Ali Baba! Oredi bumped into him many times liao outside office, haha! We went back her house to eat e dessert tat we bought in IMM, nt so nice though. Surprise Surprise! Her family left us alone in e house & go to her sis house! Well..hmm..guess they trust me to be a gd boy, right? My Dear, Devona right? ;p I went hm short while after they came back. We hv did it! We hv completed our intro to both our family & e result is encouraging! Well Done to both of us! Phew! Hope tat soon we cn go trip together..juz 2 of us! Lookin' forward to it leh! :)
Fri (03/02): We went to Esplanade to see e Fireworks. Is e 2nd time tat we see fireworks together! Of course is much more grand & a lot nicer den wat we saw in Kukup! The fireworks start at 930pm for 15 days starting fr "Chu Yi" - 29/01. We went up to e rooftop of Esplanade to get a nice aerial view. The oni pity is tat we were a bit late becos we were runnin' up e stairs when e fireworks start.
On Sat (04/02) - "Chu Qi" which is Ren Ri, my Dear Devona came over my place for "lou hei" tis time. Very nice & thoughtful of her to buy some fruits, she dun wan to come empty handed to my home...me too e other way round. Tis time round is more relax for her. After dinner, we challenged each other on e F1 Racing on my PS2! She loved to play TV game & me too! She was nt bad at TV game bt is my game machine so..of course I beat her lah! We both win 1 round bt I won e PK round..well, I'm always ready for ur challenge again my Dear! ;p

Romantic Dining Place (Part 2) & Others..

This week, my Love, Devona & me went to a lot of new places for dinner like I mentioned previously, we had run of idea for dining places. We went to the Otori Japanese Restuarant, that is famous for their paper pot steamboat, in Gillman Village on Tue(24/01). Gillman Village, formerly a British army barracks, is juz beside St.Andrew JC. This is e 1st time we went to tis place & wow! Wat a pleasant surprise! Tis place is almost like paradise in a country tat is mostly filled wif tall concrete bldgs! The place is surrounded by tropical forests; serene & very romantic at nite! Otori is nt e oni restaurant there, there is oso a chinese restaurant by e name of Grand Peony Court; Little Bali, tat we din really noe whether it is juz a drinking place or it oso serve meal, a seafood restaurant, a foodcourt & a really nice dining restaurant tat we will definitely go there one day! Hmm..let's talk abt Otori bah, e food is nice bt we were truely amazed by their service, really top class! Keep refillin' our green tea! Well, tis is definitely a restaurant tat I dun mind paying e service charge becos their service deserved it! Overall, Gillman Village is a nice place to dine if u wan privacy & stay away fr e noisy world! I'm nt sure if it will still be e same if it is on a fri bt tis place does offer a different kinda dining atmosphere! Do check out tis place ya! :)

We went to e Old Airport Road Hawker Centre to sample e famous Toa Payoh Rojak on Mon(23/01). Actually my Love, Devona wanted to eat e famous Bak Kut Teh bt it was a Mon, no pork means no Bak Kut Teh lor. The rojak really lives up to its reputation, e sauce is juz perfect! Is nt too sweet nor too saltish. The you char kueh is charcoal grilled before it is being mixed wif e other freshly prepared ingredients & of course e wonderful sauce! We oso ate e Otak Otak which at 40 cent a pcs is really gd value for money! U will noe it when u try it! We later separately ordered our own food. After we finished e above, I ordered Char Kuay Teow & she ordered Fish Meat Noodle Soup. The Char Kuay Teow is gd & tasty bt e Fish Meat Noodle Soup taste funny, which maybe tats e reason y I kana stomach upset e nxt day! Since is still early, we headed dwn to Siglap Coffee Club for coffee & tea before I sent her home. Overall, Old Airport Road Hawker Centre is a place filled wif many nice food at really budget price. So for couple wif limited budget, it is a nice place to dine if e main aim is to enjoy gd food at budget price! :)

We went to Chomp Chomp on Wed(25/01) for dinner. 1st time too! juz like Old Airport Road Hawker Centre. Tis place smaller though, compare to Old Airport Road Hawker Centre, pricer too! Bt there is more crowd which means parking is real prob! They actually opened another food centre nearby bt e crowd cannot be compared to Chomp Chomp. I ate Fish Ball Noodle & my Love, Devona had Char Kuey Teow & we shared e Fried Oyster Omelette, w/o Oyster! Yah! Fried Oyster Omelette w/o Oyster becos we both dun eat Oyster bt we juz wan to eat Fried Oyster Omelette tats all, haha! The food at Chomp Chomp is actually quite ok if u dun mind spending a bit of time getting a place to sit becos it will be difficult. If u r drivin' & u dun mind e long wait to get a place to park, tis area is actually a nice place to dine becos there r oso many other choices in tis area. We went to e Liquid Kitchen for a drink after e dinner, non-alcoholic though. One regret is tat they dun hv e dessert tat we wanted to eat.

On Thu(26/01), we went to Chinatown to get Chinese New Year goodies for both our family becos is e 1st time tat we bring our partners to see our family for both of us! So officially, we r both 1st bf & gf officially announced to both our family members! Is really BIG event for e both of us & we r very nervous & we both wan to make sure we did a gd job, to leave a gd impression for both our family..so nervous ah!

We had our lunch at the Maxwell Food Centre, I ordered e Cai Dao Kueh becos it looked nice, taste nice bt nt really tat fantastic. Wanted to order e Fish Meat Noodle bt e queue was incredible! I had it once, really nice bt becos of e queue, nxt time bah..haiz! My Love, Devona ordered e Chicken Rice. Let me had a taste of e rice..well I like Chicken Rice..uh..rice oni, haha! She oso bought e Tapioca Kueh which is very soft! Really gd! I usually dun eat so many at one go bt I actually ate 6 pcs! If I remember correctly!

After we had finished our shoppin' & makan, we catched e evening show of "Hou Yuan Jia - The Fearless", e supposingly last movie by Jet Lee at Suntec City. It was based on a real story & it was really touching! Nt really wat I had expected bt e fighting was nice! Fr e movie, it tried to convey a message tat violence is Not e way to solve problem & we dun learn martial art to fight bt instead, to stop fight, stop war. I believe for most of us, we r always tinkin' of beating who who in study, work & others etc. Bt e really enemy is fr within, is ourself! We sh instead focus on hw to improve oneself, knowing oneself more becos most pple dun even noe themself well enough, including me..

Romantic Dining Place (Part 1)

I'm sure for any couple after a certain period of time, they will run out of idea of where to go for dinner etc. Nt surprisingly, we faced e same prob too! Given tat we dine together almost everyday except Sun!
So on Mon(16/01), I brought my Love, Devona to e Pasta Fresca in Pasir Panjang, which is quite near to NUS. I believe tis is e most romantic & classiest place tat I hv brought her to for dinner! The decor, e music & e service are all top class! The hand-made pasta is really gd! Mushroom soup is really filled wif mushroom & is very concentrated! I love e Garlic Bread spread wif cheese, freshly toasted when served! So for anyone tat love nice Italian food at reasonable price, I recommend Pasta Fresca! Is really value for money!

THE GATHERING
My "jie mei"s, whom I were very close to, are all very interested to mit my Love, Devona! They were all my ex-Colleague in PAC, my lunch mates! They were all dying to see who is e gal, whom is supposingly "conned" by me to be my gf, haha! The gathering was arranged on Fri(20/01) at Lau Pa Sat. Many pple came, my ex-Buddies in PAC & even my big boss! We came a bit late & we were "forced" to sit far apart! Is their "evil" plot! Anyway, it was always nice to mit up wif old frens, chat up & not talk abt job. The food dun really suit both of us becos we were both "Pu Zhua", so left for a "short" break to eat some light non-oily food. We din join them for karaoke aftertat becos as I said earlier, we were both not in our pink of health. So maybe durin' e Chinese New Year Gathering bah! Den there can be more chating etc. Tis is e 1st time officially I introduced my Love, Devona to my frens as my gf, glad she felt comfortable bt beware of e nxt gathering, there will be more bombardment of qns I'm sure, haha! Is e 2nd week of e new year 2006! Thks 2 all those who hv cont' their interest in my blog. Hope I din offend anyone along e way in my blog & of course my blog will still concentrate mainly on e "Love Story of Kenneth & Devona" & e story cont'.. :)

Went 2 Holland V 4 dinner on 06/01(Fri). Tis is e 1st time we went there since e last time we went there 4 dinner while I was still in Reservist. Still rem at tat time, we were tryin' to avoid my grp of bunkmates whom were oso there so coincidentally bt we still bumped into them nt once, bt twice! We went 2 e Sushi Tei there bt..juz one bit of comment, e Unagi was kinda smaller compared 2 those tat we ate at other outlets! The best we had eaten is fr e China Square outlet! We went Labrador Park, a memoriable place 4 us becos of..well..ar.., aftertat & we finally found a way 2 help us 2 de stress! ;p
Is comp holi 4 us on 09/01(Mon), so we decided 2 go Sentosa. Well, tis is e place tat we celebrated our 1 mth Anniversary. It was rainin' heavily 4 e past few days & it is difficult 2 plan any outings & we still can't go on any private trip yet..haiz. Picked her up at her place cos e weather is so unpredictable.. We eat e sushi buffet at Sakae Sushi fr 3pm to 6pm. It was a such heavy meal 4 us tat we cd actually forgoes e dinner! Prior 2 tat, we took some light food at e Sky Tower Subway. Tis is e 1st time I ate Subway sandwich & fr wat I heard fr her..guess I will leave e orderin' 2 her again when we go Subway nxt time, haha! We've been goin' Sentosa so regularly tat we cn consider applyin' 4 membership liao, haha! Well, tis is e 1st place tat we went overseas leh! :)
Aftertat..we actually went on a Park Escapade! It was still early & so we went jialan jialan 2 visit all those supposingly well received "holy" parks!
Mt Faber Park: We gave up on tis park! We went there 3 times & everytime is a disappointment..really cannot make it! Is hot & stuffy, crowded, really can't believe tis used 2 be a holy place 4 couples!

Kent Ridge Park: We oni went up & dwn 1 round in e car bt it certainly had one of e best nite view! Maybe we will go there nxt time 2 enjoy e nite scene!
We oso passed by West Coast Park too bt nt enough 2 judge it so I leave it out. Labrador is still e best 4 me at e moment bt maybe Kent Ridge got e potential 2 overtakes it..hmm..we did go to Lower Pierce Resirvoir on a later date bt e weather was really bad..we were kinda scare 2 venture too far & cos it was really really dark so..anyway..we did hv a gd time, haha!

13/01(Fri) or Fri e 13th, supposed 2 hv a gathering wif some ex Colleague bt due 2 unavailability of my big boss, Takayama san; it was postponed. So we went Marina South 4 steamboat dinner, tis is e 2nd time we went there. Last time we went 2 Chong Pang so tis time we chose Long Chun. Based on her assessment & I feel e same too, Long Chun got wider choice & nicer selection of meat 4 BBQ. I loved e BBQ fish meat she did 4 me! She oso enjoyed herself better! Fillin' dinner again..guess soon she will achieve her target..tat is 2 make big my tummy, haha! Devona, u muz be responsible ok? haha!

14/01(Sat): picked Devona up at Orchard after I finished my mornin' soccer game wif my bro, Jacky & his frens. Since it was 15th on e lunar calendar, we went 2 e Godess of Mercy Temple at Waterloo St 2 pray. Aftertat we went 2 Parco Bugis Junction..which was a very big mistake! We bumped into many PAC colleagues which was nt e problem, really!

Y it was a mistake? Well..it seems like it is nt a place tat my beloved Devona enjoyed shoppin' there! She juz cd nt find anything suitable 4 her & me & e place was so crowded! Guess we will cross out tis place fr our shoppin' place list bah! Missin' out on e Agnes b bag last wk at Cityhall & other things tat happened lately etc. seem 2 hv taken a toll on her..my poor dear! Dun worry, ur honey will help u thru all these! I will be there 2 support U in watever..& juz wan 2 say it again..u looked really beautiful tat day! I liked ur image tat day! Too bad I looked shagged; if nt, we wd hv taken our 1st photo sticket 2gether..well leave it on another memoriable day, when we cn record e date on it bah! Had dinner at East Coast Park Food Centre..she din hv any appetite at tat time bt when I sent her home, we went 2 e famous Prata shop: Cashurina Curry, dunno if I got e spellin' correct or nt, 4 supper..she looked better by den, haha! Oh yah, tat place is air-con liao leh bt too bad they close shop at 12am! Looked cleaner & more organised..their egg prata was really big! Well, is their speciality mah! Sent her home aftertat.. Yeah! Finally I'm updated in my blog once again! Will try 2 update as regular as possible before I start 4gettin' wat I feel at tat moment, wat I want 2 put dwn in words in e blog. Well, hv a nice week ahead to everyone tat had read my blog & of course 2 my beloved Devona, wan to be wif u every moment, every minute! :)

2 Month Anniversary!!!

02/01/06(Mon): Our 2 mth Anniversary!!! Devona & I hv been 2gether for 2 mths liao! Seem short bt actually, wif so many things tat had happened since, e progress of our relationship is almost equivalent 2 wat most ordinary couples would hv progress after 2-3 yrs! & we still feel our time 2gether is always nt enough even though we c each other almost everyday! The speed of our story is movin' so fast is like u r watchin' TV drama tat is showin' everyday! So..hw did we celebrate tis special occasion? Hmm..certainly it was a memoriable one! ;p

I met her early at her place 2 go 4 breakfast 2gether. We oso went 2 get some ingredients 4 e food tat we planned 2 prepare 2gether in her house as lunch since her parents nt home. Well..let's look at our creations!

Hmm..nt exactly "nice" on e outlook bt it taste really gd! The moral of e story is, nvr judge anythin' juz by it's cover! Like me too, haha! I am really a very homely boy tat prefers to stay at hm watch TV or play Playstation rather den clubbing bt becos of my "party" boy look..haiz!!!

1/2 thru our lunch, her sis dropped by! Met her 4 e 1st time, noe of her charactor fr Devona so kinda noe wat 2 expect..well at least she acknowledge my presence, OK!!!
We went Takashimaya 2 shop aftertat, my sweet Devona bought 2 T-Shirts 4 me!!! I still hv nt bought anythin' 4 her yet leh..haiz!!!

We went 2 our fav Okonomiyaki restaurant, Iroha House at Orchard Hotel 4 our dinner. Is our 2nd visit there & is e oni place in S'pore so far tat we cn find real quality authentic Okonomiyaki! Tis oso happened 2 be our fav Jap food! Nxt time when we go Jap, I bring u 2 e DIY Okonomiyaki restaurant bah! :) We oso went 2 e Wheellock Place 2 hv our fav mudpie, cookie monster at nydc, hmm..Yummy!!!

Is home sweet home aftertat & of course on tis annivesary day, she finally get 2 collect her long belated "Christmas present", I noe u juz can't wipe e smile off ur face, hehe!!! ;p

03/01/06(Tue): We cont' our celebration since is holi 4 us! We hv our buffet lunch at Cocoa, very full ah!!! Juz can't hv enough of e fish glue!!! After e long delicious lunch, we watched Narnia. Is a show wif nice CG, simple storyline bt I like some of e soundtracks. Sh I buy e soundtrack or..hmm..haha!!! We went Paragon to shop & my sweet Devona bought a another shirt 4 me!

Tis is e Guess shirt tat she bought 4 me!..& I still hv nt bought anythin' 4 her yet..haiz!!!..bt she dun wan me 2 spend $ leh..am I very "niao"..haiz!!! After we had our light dinner at e Paragon Coffee Club, is home sweet home aftertat cos we both hv 2 work e nxt day..& 2 end of our celebration, it muz of course ends wif a big bang lah!!! Haha!!! ;p (May there be infinite Anni 4 both of us!!!)

Our 1st overseas trip! In a grp though bt wif e frens who had joined tis trip, it was fun even though it wasn't tat value 4 $..well, is our 1st trip anyway! Our 1st New Year Celebration 2gether! We went Kukup to celebrate e arrival of new year 2006! We joined e trip organised by Wilson Low. We actually wanted 2 go wif 2 of my design team members, Eileen + hubby & Joan + bf bt we couldn't get 4 more persons 2 join us so no choice we had 2 cancel tat trip & joined up wif Melvin & e rest.
Is a new year & I hope our relationship will oni grow stronger & hope tis yr will be a gd yr for both of us! Hope we cn go on our own private trip soon! Love Ya! Devona :)

17/12/05(Sat): Miz out tis fr e last entry. Tis is e 1st time tat I actually "invite" a gal to watch me play football! Kana conned by my bro, Jacky tat we will be playin' against a weak team bt e weak team is actually US!!! Picked Devona up at Queenstown MPT & we headed to e challenge ground, Tanglin Field. My sweet & thoughtful gf got me 2 bottles of isotonic drink, one for my bro too! Hopin' 2 impress her & I really wanted 2 score a goal & dedicate to her bt e opponent was too strong & I was doin' defendin' job rather den attackin'..hopefully, nxt time I cn really score a goal in front of her & dedicate it 2 her! 2 let her noe tat I'm nt Harris, I'm Munez leh! Haha!!! ( She will noe wat I mean ;p )

23/12/05(Fri): Went to our 1st concert 2gether, Ah Du's Live in Concert at S'pore Indoor Stadium! Got e tickets fr my fren, Laylian..thks! We both hv his 1st album oni! So coincident, haha! The concert was ok..he can't really dance, he cn oni sing..din started off well 4 few of his songs..tink he got e key wrong..Oops! Hope there is no Ah Du's fan tat will read tis entry ;P Devona was actually more excited by JJ's guest appearance! I was more impressed by e flute & violin combo wif e electric guitar arrangement 4 a few of his songs! Alright my dear, we will go for e JJ's concert 2gether nxt time! :)

24/12/05(Sat): X'mas Eve!!! We celebrate our 1st X'mas 2gether! Kinda run out of idea of whr 2 go. We wanted 2 avoid e crowd at Orchard bt den..whr else wif no crowd bt cn celebrate? We can't go 4 holi 2gether yet, if nt...haiz! Finally, I brought her 2 Fisherman's Village 2 hv our X'mas Dinner! Long time I hv nt went there, same 4 her too! Thks "Xiao Teo" for remindin' me of tis place! The place was nice, seclude..nice 4 couple..much much better den East Coast! Many place to sit! We were quite worry abt e weather bt luckily e weather did clear up & we cn hv our Romantic dinner by e seaside under e dim light! The X'mas atmos wasn't tat strong there bt anyway, I was lookin' forward 2 e present openin' time! My lovely, thoughtful Devona gave me a BRAUN BUFFEL belt! She noticed tat I hv oni 1 pcs of belt, hw thoughtful! Aiyah..compare to her, I was too lousy! I'm wearin' e belt everyday 2 work nw, cn proudly show off 2 everyone, haha! Well, I oso got another X'mas gift lined up 4 her..bt, haha! She din get it tat day becos of e..haha! Bt she did get it on another day! ;p

25/12/05(Sun): X'mas "watch Sunset at Sentosa"!!! Wanted 2 go there 4 tannin' bt we were quite late when we reached there bt..we accidentally found a nice place 2 see Sunset! It was very Beautiful! Romantic! So any couples out there wan 2 ask me whr izzit in Sentosa?..I dun wan 2 tell, haha! Hmm..at least it turned out 2 be a memoriable X'mas 4 both of us! Had Sakae Sushi for dinner there, same price wif other outlets in e main land! We were very very hungry when we had our dinner becos..i can't rem..hmm..haha! Hope tat our future X'mas will oso be as memoriable as tis..she had nt claim her X'mas present yet leh which she did on another day..keke! :)

Tis is a post dated entry, many OT & free time I'm wif my love Devona..so tats y, haha!
We went to Siglap Cafe Cartell on Fri (16/12/05) for dinner. It was e 2nd time we went there. We went back to e same seat too!
I believe for any couple, there will always hv a few places tat hold great memory & for us, Siglap is one of the place. Y? Well..tis is e 1st place tat we went 4 dinner when we 1st cnfirmed! At tat time, there were still many uncertainties & 4 me, there's one major concern 4 me which bothered me alot, which of course she noe lah! At tat time when I met up wif her, I was of course happy bt nt totally becos at e back of mind, there was something tat bothered alot which in a way..my smile etc..is nt totally "real". Bt when she cleared my major concern, tat time was e 1st time she said tat she saw my "million dollar" smile which so was "real"! Becos..is "REAL"! Siglap was e place tat she 1st witness tis! :)
Hmm..Sakae Sushi, we went to alot of Jap restaurants to eat but surprisingly, tis was oni our 2nd visit to tis restaurant! The 1st time was at e Marina Square outlet on Mon (28/11/05) & tis time we went to e Wheel Place outlet on Sun (18/12). We both love Jap food & was lucky for me 'cos I dun eat many things, all my close frens will noe, haha! In term of sushi selection, Sakae Sushi hv e best..well, hopefully soon we will be eatin' it 2gether in Japan!!! The original place for sushi, a place tat I stayed 4 a year, a place tat I noe inside out, better den Orchard!!! Oredi cn start hearin' pple complainin' tat I boast too much abt my 1 year stay in Japan liao!!! Well, tat's all 4 nw!!! ;p

Christmas Gift

Really got no idea of wat to give her until I suggested Couple Ring! She actually wanted to give me as VDay gift bt she finally let me get tat as Christmas present for her! Well..we r oso very eagle to hv it & wear it..so tat we cn show off to other pple mah..hehe! My name is engraved on her ring while her name is engraved on mine; & when our ring combined it => it formed a heart shape! So for others..no chance liao ah!!! Haha!!! We r both nt available liao!!!

1 Month Anniversary!!!

1 Month liao! On 02/12/05, Kenneth & Devona r together in Love for 1 Month!
1 month..is actually a short time bt to both of us, it seems like we've been together for a thousand year & we still feel our time spent together is nt enough! We love each other so much tat short time apart seems so unbearable & make us miss & tink of each other even more! (Rem tat we work in a same company leh!)
So many things happened durin' tis 1 month, we've gone thru so much for a month tat most couples wd probably go thru in a few yrs! & becos of all tis, our love grow fr strength to strength after each incident!
Rem my lunchmate once said tat no couples dun quarrel & thru quarrel, they noe each other better..However I beg to differ! In our case, thru open & frank discussion, we get to noe each other better & as I mentioned earlier thru some incidents oso..I tink wat I said later on will kana some jia lat backlash..bt I believe, firmly believe tat we will nvr quarrel becos we love each other so much tat e last thing on our mind is to make each other feel sad..let alone quarrel!
Our relationship is movin' so fast tat if we dun hv any worries such as money, wedding plan, a place tat we cn call home etc, we cn juz get marry tml!
First talk abt wat happened on 28/11/05 (Mon), bad thing happens again when we thought all e bad things r behind us! Bt tis incident cn oni make us more sure of each other & further strengthen our Love for each other! I dun tink anythin' in tis world cn ever tear us apart!
Tis week, my design grp is very very busy, esp we juz had our Proto1 in mid week..I can't spend as much time as I like wif her so I thought of juz e perfect gift for her! I gave her a pink little monkey soft toy sprayed with Ambi Pure! Everyone in e company called me monkey & whenever she smelt tat Ambi Pure smell I use in my car, it reminds her of me! I was hopin' tat tis little monkey cn help me accompany her when I'm nt free bt it actually makes her miss me even more when she sees it! She nvr expected tat I actually prepared a gift for her becos I was so busy! She was very touched & happy! She oso prepared a box of chocolate in a heart-shape box wif a handphone strip of "Dev Love Ken"! I'm surprised becos she acted like e anniversary thing is nt impt bt of course I was very happy & touched when I received e gift fr her!
We went Sentosa after we had a quick bite at Red Hill Market, we went back to e place tat she felt really romantic when we went there last Sat. I oredi planned to bring her there for tis anniversary when she told me tat she really like tat place & hw romantic tat place is..It was really an unforgettable nite, we both got "all wet"! We oso found a place wif really nice nite view to drink coffee! I'm glad tat we both able to make it to spend tis special day together! My grp members Eileen & Joan even disturbed me tat they wan to OT on 02/12/05 (Fri)! I din noe tat they oredi noe abt us bt they juz pretend & act wif me!
I've changed my Friendster status & pic, I'm ready to let everyone noe liao! We dun fear anything else liao! We oni wan to let e whole world noe tat hw deeply in love we r wif each other! Paisei, Paisei! Long time no update..bt oni 1 week mah! No time to write becos gotta be wif my Love, Devona mah! Hmm..many things happened durin' tis week..kana spotted by some colleagues, Desmond & Ali Baba etc becos I made a stupid turn..went many places..parks to be exact, haha! Bt esp Sat (26/11) is e most unforgettable..we went Sentosa! & as usual, my beloved Devona always hv thoughtful & sweet actions tat cn oni make me Love her more! She bought moisturising cream for me becos she spotted tat I hv dry skin & Thu (24/11), Fri (25/11), she buy breakfast for me leh! I feel like e most "xin fu" man on earth! Thu (24/11): Pick her up for dinner after done wif e audit at Tuas Warehouse. Bt a wrong turn fr me, e stupid boy tis time, placed us onto display like show piece for everyone to see! She happened to send SMS on my behave so she placed her head down bt pple who saw it tink tat she try to hide! She kana bombarded jia lat e nxt day..sori..is tis stupid boy mistake..nvrmind, e time is near to official announce our relationship! We went to Great World City for Korean food again, haha! Window shopped a while before we headed to Labrador Park for..nice scenary..well..ar..send her home aftertat..

Fri (25/11): TGIF! We went Marina South for steamboat. She always thought tat I can't take steamboat bt is ok for me! We wanted to explore tat area bt it was too dark so we headed down to Cosy Bay for..nice scenary..well..ar..send her home aftertat..

Sat (26/11): Initial plan was to OT bt cancel liao so we went Sentosa together! (It happened to be our company's Active Day at East Coast bt..we hv our own plan ;p ) We had our brunch at Tiong Bahru Market before we drove in to Sentosa. For those who like to drive in to Sentosa, gd news! Is cheap & convenient! $2 per car, $2 per head count & there is a newly built multi storey carpark, $1 per entry day/night! We went to Palawan Beach for sun tan..a while oni becos e sun was hidin' for most of e day! Suddenly we became celebrities becos there grp of pple wanted to take photo wif us!..is actually there's a few grp of pple playin' game & they nid us to be photographed. Hope it dun ends up on Pioneer Web Site or our Bulletin Board, haha! We went to BK for dinner before we went to e Musical Fountain. It's been ages since e 2 of us went there & for those who r goin' there. There is 2 showtime, 7:45pm & 8:45pm bt pls be there early. We went for e 1st show & we could not understand why e ushers r urgin' us to sit in so early at 7pm bt once we entered e arena, Wow! It was almost full & e show will oni start 45 min later! We managed to get seat & e show was so much different fr e last tat we both went, separately long time ago. The programme had changed a lot & it was very beautiful! We strolled a while before we headed back to Palawan Beach. There's so many nice romantic places & enterin' to Sentosa has become so easy & convenient so we will be goin' there more often :) Hmm..nice weather after e rain..nice scenary..well..ar..send her home aftertat..(p.s. went into her house for e 1st time for..too shy to say, haha!)

Sun (27/11): Her parents went Penang for holiday fr Fri so I accompanied her for e 1st time on Sun. We mit up at our usual meetin' place in Orchard, went to e food court at Wisma for brunch. We shopped ard, hopin' to find e suitable gift for He Ning for X'mas bt we couldn't find any..however, I do hv idea of wat to give if really no choice bt..we both agreed tat she will killed us for tat if she got tat for present, haha! After shoppin' ard Orchard, we decided to head down China Square to look at e weekend market, hopin' to find something suitable for her & oso..hopin' to find M.Ballack & Inuyasha figurine for my dear Devona! We went to Sushi Tei for dinner, sat on e nice rockin' "chair" juz outside China Square decorated wif X'mas decor & wif X'mas comin'..we will be celebratin' our X'mas together soon! Chated for long time abt mitin' family, hw we got together & hw it will be if we had made different move & some things happened differently etc & a rather personal issue tat I offered my views..Too many kids & pple so we went to Labrador Park for..nice scenary..well..ar..send her home aftertat..(p.s. went into her house for e 2nd time for same thing again..haha!)

Is comin' to 1 mth tat we've been together, tis comin' fri (02/12). Nov 19 0900hr: PAC Futsal Tournament 2005 at RP. My team, Design Centre United drew e 1st game 2-2, won e 2nd game 2-1, lost e 3rd game 0-2. Too bad they follow e old goal difference rule, if nt based on current UEFA head to head rule, we sh be fightin' for e 1st & 2nd placin' bt anyway, we enjoyed ourselves, hv fun, tat is most impt!
Nov 19 1300hr: Mit up wif my dear Devona outside Lido Mango. She went for a haircut at Takayshimaya. Actually, really hoped tat she cn come dwn to watch me play bt..maybe is still nt appropriate at e moment..anyway, after e trim..she looked neater! (I din say she looked untidy before tat, dun misquote me leh, haha!) My ever so sweet & thoughtful Devona got me a bottle of H2O to quench my thirst! Isn't she wonderful? We went to Scotts Picnic for lunch before we headed dwn to Orchard Hotel to check out e Okonomiyaki Restaurant.
We still got many time so we had coffee at StarBucks..we nvr went to StarBucks yet leh even though we drank coffee almost everytime we met up!
Nov 19 1800hr: Is dinner time at e Okonomiyaki Restaurant at Orchard Hotel! She like to eat Okonomiyaki & tis happened to be my fav jap food oso! I actually sh be e one to do e homework bt she spend time thru internet to find tis place! Nxt will be my turn! I will try to find e place tat they actually let us do e Okonomiyaki ourselves becos in Japan, all e restaurant tat I went to, we actually do it ourselves unlike S'pore. We will go to Japan together one day ok? Tat's many places tat I wanted to bring u!
Nov 19 2200hr: I brought her to Labrador Park, juz cd nt find any nice place in Orchard tat we cn sit dwn, relax & chat.
We found a nice place to sit, facin' e sea, we cn hear e sea wave strumin, e light blinkin' opp of us..it was very relax, comfortable & romantic.
Nov 19 2230hr: The most wonderful thing has happened..finally! It was really unforgettable & until nw, is still spinnin' in my head! Tis has to be one of e happiest moment in my life! & wif her Devona, we r sure we will hv many more unforgettable, happy moment! First day in office as colleague!

Back in e office..as colleague, as Devona's Mentor for e first time since all tat had happened durin' my reservist time. Strange feelin' at 1st..bt tink we were both quite professional, our actin' etc, haha!
Finally..we managed to pass thru e day as colleague & finally..we cn resumed our couple role!
Guess most pple still dunno & can't tell bt S'pore is so same & we met one of our colleague at Suntec City! We weren't prepared for it so it came quite a bit of shock..hope she dun spread..she sh understand my hand sign bah..haha! if nt, oso no choice.
We went to Sushi Tei at Millenium Walk for dinner. Strollin' around Suntec City, hmm..can't seem to get tired of tis place even though we juz came here on Wed, haha! We went to e Suntec Roof Top Garden. Tis time finally we managed to find a nice place to sit..e weather is better oso..bt again..miz out on something tat I wanted to do again!..still got chance lah hor..aiyah, wasted again! Sent her home as usual, we will mit again tml, so..

Nov 17: Hmm..suppose to be backed in office bt very tired physically, mentally nt ready..bt I actually wan to accompany my dear Devona to settle some issue ;p To my surprise, she had actually settled all those things by e time I, e supposingly monkey..bt actually pig, woke up! Very guility! I rushed dwn to Bugis Junction , my fastest speed to mit her..bt in actual fact still very slow, haha! Den, she surprised me wif another sweet action! She actually made honey for me becos she noticed tat my throat was no gd last nite when she met me! She oso bought breakfast, Old Chang Kee sardine curry puff for me, knowin' tat I probably hv nt eaten anythin' when I rushed dwn to mit her! Hw sweet of her! Tis made me even more guility bt happy oso becos tis shows tat I mean so much to her! I swear tat I will try to find every chance to treat her, show concern, to make her feel tat she oso mean a lot to me!
We watched Harry Potter and e Goblet of Fire, actually it was me who wanted to watch..luckily it was nt too bad a movie..tink she enjoyed watchin' it too..hopefully ;p (Very bad again..we called & disturbed He Ning tat we hv watched tis movie becos I heard she wanted to watch tis movie too, haha!)
We went to Si Ma Ru Godess of Mercy Temple to pray aftertat..oso to get a Pin An Amulet for Devona, she lost it last week. Straight aftertat, we went to eat the Mango Ice from Taiwan..taste gd! We muz go Taiwan together next time!
Aftertat, we went to East Coast for a "photo shoot", haha!..hmm..we nid a camera man for e Christmas lighting leh..haha!
We sat on e bench, enjoyed e breeze, listened to e sea wave, watched e sun set, chat..really relaxed & comfortable..hmm..forgot somethin' tat I sh hv done..bt nvrmind..still got chance ;p
We went to e East Coast Food Centre for dinner. Nt exactly so fantastic..e food..bt anyway, we left for Mt.Faber after takin' a stroll along East Coast Park..e weather was no gd again..juz like yesterday!
When we reached Mt.Faber, wat an anti-climax! It wasn't wat we had in mind..aiyah! I sent her home aftertat, we both got to work tml..same company..Wonder hw will it be..e first time we start workin' in office together after wat had happened durin' e last 2 weeks or so, hmm..we'll see when tml come bah!

My "most memoriable" Reservist has finally ended!

Finally, my 3 weeks MP Specs II Course hv finally ended! I'm nw a 3rd Sergeant! Bt tis reservist oso marked e new beginnin' for my life! Becos durin' tis period, I hv found my life partner tat I wan to spend wif for e rest of my life!
I went straight to pick up my dear Devona after I cn finally out-processed!
Very Sweet of her (Nt e 1st time)! She bought Vitamin C tablets for me..oso a bar of chocolate! She was so nice & thoughtful to me! I was very touched & I really nid to buck up..tink I'm still din do a gd job as her bf!
We went to Suntec City Ichiban Boshi for dinner..we oso ate e yogurt, oops! Sori 4got e name ;p, tat she wanted to eat e last time round when we were there bt it was closed. We strolled ard Suntec City, Marina Square, Millenium Walk & went up to e roof top of Esplanade. Wanted to see e garden & fountain up there..really romantic place bt e weather was nt..we cd see lightnin' flashin' on & off so..no choice..aiyah..wasted ;p It was a rather short adventure for us tat nite..bt since we will be mittin' again tml, well..we still hv chance to..keke!

Finally, comin' to e last week of my reservist! Easy Mon, 14/11: Vehicle Topo ard S'pore in e mornin' & tat's it for e day bt dunno y still so much delay, 1830hr den they let us Book Out! Still hv to Book In by 2230hr leh!
Suppose 2 go straight hm bt last min change of plan, mit up wif my dear, Devona! Very "malu" becos I was in my PT attire, namely T-shirt, shorts & trackshoe..& most impt of all, I nvr do my hair leh!!! Glad she dun mind, so understandin' of her! We went Ghim Moh 4 dinner..or actually she lah, I see she eat, haha! After tat, we head dwn to Holland V 4 a stroll & coffee at e Coffee Club. Den..as we were walkin' pass Coffee Bean, saw a bunch of familiar guys, weren't they my reservist camp mates? Oh no! There's no way to escape fr their attention, my attire was too outstandin', haha! After makin' some formality sake gesture, we quickly run away fr tat area. Is still a bit early so we planned our route such tat we will nt walk pass Coffee Bean again bt..we met them again! Becos they hv shifted to Eski Bar! Aiya! "Tiolia" again!..Holland V is too small lah..sometime, e more u wan 2 hide, e more easier u be caught! Anyway, tat's all our adventure for e nite..I sent her to B.Vista MRT Station becos there's no way I cn send her hm & still be back in camp by 2230hr..Sori my dear, can't send u hm. Hmm..juz wan 2 say:," Everyday, I love u more..miss u more..tink u more.. :)"

12/11: Mit Devona outside Mango of Lido..sorry 2 make her wait again..wanted 2 come earlier becos I promise nt 2 make her wait 4 me bt I was rushin' 2 burn tat INXS song, Never Tear Us Apart into CD, so tat she cn hear it in my car..got 2 add few other songs 2 make up e no. tat's y..
We went 2 Forum Coffee Bean 4 coffee, window shop 4 a while before we finally ended up at e Paragon Nooch 2 take our dinner..we were tinkin' abt wat 2 do 4 Xmas..takin' photo & things like tat etc..bt bad thing happens again!
Dun wan 2 go into details bt it was a really unfortunate incident bt becos of tis incident, we hv grew closer, our love is stronger for each other! I was worried tat I did nt do enough bt I was glad tat she was really happy & felt protected wif me ard! After tis incident, I noe tat nothin' in tis world cn ever tear us apart! It makes me even more sure tat, I was & am oredi sure, she is e one tat I wan to spend my life wif..to protect her for e rest of my life! My love for her will have no expire date!

Tis is e finale to my MP Specs II Course. We practise war time duty for MP during tis excercise.
07/11 2000hr: Book In (we were told tat we r oredi in operation, which mean at anytime we will be activated & will move out for excercise.)
07/11 2300hr: Finish loading up all our stores & go to sleep in army uniform..ready to move out anytime
07/11 0400hr: Wake Up, Breakfast (oredi combat ration..Yuk! Suck!), Draw Arms etc.
07/11 0800hr: Move out for Ex Moonlight (we do Security for e 1st part)
We built a GPMG pit (toughest) using almost 200 sandbag! Built a tentage! layout e Circuit Route! Setup e ACP! We took abt 4 hrs to construct all these wif 10 men! aftertat, is guard duty all e way til 08/11 0100hr for e excercise to cut!
..is nt over leh..no sleep..move to new location!
08/11 0300hr: 2nd mission starts!
We do PW tis time. We built a PW Cage, a tentage by 08/11 0700hr ready for operation! Very shiong ah!..by tat time I'm like a human zombie liao..bt I was still ask to do ambush, collect PWs etc den something really really bad happen to me!!! Anyway..is over & I'm ok liao..stronger & tougher? Haha!

Very sorry to make her wait so long for me..initially thought cn book out earlier bt..I dun trust SAF anymore! Urgh!
I picked her up at Buona Vista MRT station & head to Holland V for dinner. Den come e sweetest moment! She actually bought 4 cans of Red Bull & 1 packet of chocolate for me! Knowin' tat my trg was very tough..she was actually so thoughful to buy Red Bull for me (1 for each day)! Tat was very very sweet of her bt I was too shy to say hw touched & happy I was! All those tireness, injuries tat I suffered were instantly cured by tis sweet, thoughful action of her! I said to myself tat I muz nvr let her dwn & I will nvr make her sad ever! She's e one for me!
..we went nydc for dinner & stroll along Holland V..really dun bear to leave her bt I nid to go back camp by 2230hr..I wanted to send her home bt it wasn't possible..well..we will mit again on Sat, 12/11..can't for tat day to come..& wif her love, she gave me strength to overcome any tough trg tat I will nid to go thru..

Definitely, we will not let our relationship affect our job. We will keep it professional bt we oso nid e pple who know abt it to play their part so tat both of us cn cont' to work in e same way juz as before. Is ok to let pple who r nt workin' in our company to know abt it bt pls dun spread it to every single person in our company esp to those Big Mouth! We had our dinner at e Makansutra nxt to Esplanade after we had our coffee at e tcc in Lido buidling. We were actually quite full so we didn't really ate much & we take a stroll fr Esplanade to Fullerton to Merlion (to & fro) before we go for e ice cream at Gelare at Citylink. We den went to Cosy Bay becos 1st.Devona nvr been there before so I bring her there & 2nd.He Ning actually said tat pple cn actually fish at Cosy Bay & I said, "fish my backside!"..becos I dun rem got pple fishing at Cosy Bay. After we arrived at tat place, actually there is pple fishing ard there bt nt at Cosy Bay, so..am I still right or...hmm..

After all tat hv been said on Tue (011105), right after 12pm fr Mon to be exact, me & Devona hv to mit again definitely. Nt juz to confirm wat we had talked bt we were missin' each other so badly tat we juz hv to mit!
I arranged to pick her up at Cityhall at 730pm, cd hv been earlier bt Army ah, Argh!!! Anyway, we make our way to Siglap, tis time I did my homework liao. We went to Cafe Cartel for dinner. Told her last time tat tis place kinda resemble Holland V bt nt so crowded & got e cosy & comfortable feel. Tis time we r spolit for choice for ice-cream, haha! Bt finally we settled for Hagen Daz, hmm..yummy. Of course is nt juz makan for both of us, we do love to eat!, we talked a lot abt wat hv been said & arrived at some common understandin' for some impt issues..which is very impt becos we dun like guessin'!
Sent her aftertat becos is nt so nice to send her so late everytime. Sent e most impt SMS in my life to her when I reached hm to cnfirm our status. Tat was Wed nite, 021105. So maybe we cn decide again which sh be our official date bah ;p Bt..we still got a big obstacle to clear..after tis, I dun tink there will be anything else tat we fear, tat we can't conquer 2gether! Until den, let's hope tat we will clear tis obstacle ASAP 2gether! All tat I wanted to say hv oredi been said to her, I will let my actions to prove my feeling & LOVE for her!

Fri: Finally is 6pm, I cn book out liao! All e NSF oredi booked out liao bt we reservist still got to stay back & eat dinner! We did negotiate to book in on Wed mornin' so..ok lah, can't hv orange & oso apple lah.
Aftertat, I made my way to Pacific Plaza to pick up Devona. We planned to go China Square for dinner becos there hv a lot of makan places. Finally, we ended up at Sushi Tei. The dinner was very fillin', so we went for a stroll ard tat area.
Devona wanted to hv ice-cream bt juz cd nt find any ard tat area, strange!
So I decided to bring her to Siglap. I went there once bt tat place kinda resemble Holland V bt..bt..as usual, I lost my way. Haha!
Tink we were on e road for almost an hour, haha! Anyway, I promise to brin' her nxt time bt I muz study e route 1st! I sent her hm as usual aftertat.
Den..come e "Showdown", it has to come sooner or later..we both knew.
We had a long chat thru MSN..we chatted a lot..a lot..I wun go into details bt it was frank & fruitful talk, at least we both understand e situation clearer.
I dunno wat will be e final outcome, bt I will pray tat it will turn out to be a dream endin' or rather "start"..

My In-Camp..Heaven turns Hell!!!

Tis is hw I look nw! In-Camp, usually is Heaven to most pple. Is a break fr e borin' routine job bt..is nt for my case!
First day was Heaven..life was slow, many waitin', whole day lecture wif test at e end of e day. We still get to book out & book in e nxt mornin'! Bt..bt..
On e 2nd day, Heaven turns Hell! We found tat e course was a STAY IN COURSE!!! We will at most be granted Nights Off, which means Book out around 6pm & Book In again by 1030pm! The course was so packed tat we even got outfield excercise for e whole of 1 week! Initially, it was even told tat we will be goin' P.Tekong for a 3 days excercise! Even though, it was changed back to e mainland bt we will still be combinin' these excercises wif e NSF! Alamak! I am reservist leh! Hw come lah goin' back to my Army Dayz!
Btw, my vocation is MP, I'm attendin' MP Specs II Course at Mombray Camp. Which means at e end of e course, I will be promoted to Seargent.
Sat, I got outfield excercise at Ulu Sembawang, Sat whole day leh! NSF oredi haf day book out liao leh!
Nevertheless, after booked out at 6pm. I went straight to pick Devona up for dinner at e office, she OT. We both hv our things to complain, haha!
Sori got to let her wait so long before she cn eat her dinner, she didn't hv lunch & by e time we had our dinner, it was oredi 8pm!
We went to e Zen at Marine Cove, East Coast for dinner.
Take a stroll at East Coast Park, dinner was heavy. The portion was big leh!
We had coffee at Coffee Bean & cont' our individual complains & gossips, haha!
Aftertat as usual, I sent her hm. It was quite late oredi. She muz be tired becos she was in e office since 9+ til 7+ & I was tired too..it will be long time sleepin' for me on Sun. Sun got to book in by 1030pm leh!!! Arghhh!!!

Is e Annual Briefin' again. Tis time round is at e Singapore Power Station. I & Devona planned to hv dinner after tis, we thought e others could join bt it seem tat everyone hv their own programme so is juz 2 of us lah ;p
The teabreak was rather heavy, so Devona accompanied me to Peninsula to shop for some Liverpool decoration for my car since she got nothin' to shop for.
Finally, I got a Liverpool Car Decal. I oso found tat she used 2 support Liverpool! Her fav was S.MacManaman who happened to be my fav too!
Becos of S.MacManaman, tats y I wear No.17, same as his.
Well, she hav stopped supportin' Liverpool & nw she support Germany wif Ballack her fav. I still support Liverpool, of course, & my fav is S.Gerard lah.
He oso weared No.17 when he 1st started off!
We went for dinner finally a Suntec City, food court though, bt she got to eat e Korean noodle tat she was cravin' for so..ok lah :)
Before tat, I oso bought e new CD by L'Arc en Ciel, my fav J-Rock band at Gramaphone. Great stuff!!!
I sent her hm aftertat, we didn't stay out too late becos we still got 2 work e nxt day mah..bt otw hm, I discovered a secret of her, which I promise I will nt tell anyone, if nt I may nt live another day, haha!
Oh yah! Her parents were nt hm!..hmm..hmm..nothin' happen lah, haha! I'm a gd boy ok!

Fri: went dinner wif Devona at Orchard's Swensen. We were both tinkin' abt ice-cream! We've been cravin' for e same thing even though we hadn't decide whr to eat & wat to eat..bt once I suggested, there is oni 1 choice!
Sori tat she got to wait for me til 7+, she was hungry & me too! I didn't take lunch leh! Anyway, we both get to eat wat we want so, it's ok lah :)
We were talkin' abt practisin' bowlin' for our company annual bowlin' event on e comin' Sat bt we were too busy to play from Mon to Thu; so initial plan was to play at Orchard Cineleisure after our dinner, bt..it seem tat e bowlin' alley no longer exist. Paisei ;p ..she was right afterall, she was e Queen of Orchard leh!
So, we made our way to Marina South Victor's Bowl for 1 game! Tis game will decide who treat e dinner! Guess we were both tired, we didn't play too well & I juz pipped her by a few points (I gave her a handicap of 25 pts). I sent her home after tat, it was quite late oredi & we both nid to get up early for e bowlin' event e nxt day...anyway, thks for e dinner lah, Devona :)

Sat: PAC Pioneer Bowlin' Competition 2005 (again!)
Yah..again..becos of e gas leak incident, e whole event was reorganised again..& I was drafted in as replacement due to some committee members resigned from e company..& I was assigned to be e MC of e day!
Tis time as usual I bet wif Jo & Violet meal treat by loser (of course they enjoyed e normal 25 points handicap)..bt tis can't compare to my bet wif Devona! I'm nt sure if I was super confident or arrogant or even crazy to actually gave her 50 pts handicap for all games! Total of 150 pts! If she won, her present will be a LV bag! If I won, tat will breakfast for 1 week fr her!
After e 1st game, I've got 130 pts & I was leading Devona by 5 pts after deductin' e 50 pts I gave her! Bt after 2nd game, my result started to go downward! I was losing her by 30 pts in total! At e end of e last game, my performance juz went from bad to worst! I oni got 55 pts! She even got higher pts den me for e final game! So..I lost! Bt she decided tat LV bag is too expensive for me, she will tink of something instead..so I owe her one more liao, still owe her e sharkfin, birdnest & abalone leh!

When I saw a birthday gift in my drawer, I was very happy & touched!!!

Last nite, I had a strange dream.
In tat dream, me & 2 of my buddies went to a conference in an old deserted conference hall.
We were wondering why e conference was held in such a place becos tis place is nt a popular place for conference bt we went anyway..our boss ask us to go mah!
When we reached there, it was surprisingly very crowded! Everything seemed normal until..
Until I overheard a conversation between 2 people..
I didn't see them physically talkin to each another bt I can hear their conversation! They seem to communicate thru their "mind wave" bt somehow I was able to catch their conversation!
(Don't ask me why becos I'm dreamin mah!)
Fr their conversation, I learnt tat we were being set up! Once we entered e conference hall, we will be killed!
I nvr said a word to my 2 buddies bt they somehw understand fr my facial expression tat somethin is amiss! We nid to get of tis place immediately!
We slowly make our way to e nearest exit & as e exit is near, I pulled out my gun & my buddies did likewise..every action is juz like in e movie..very gracefully done!
(Don't ask me why I hv a gun becos I'm dreamin mah!)
When I decided to pull my trigger at e 1st obstacle, it was a lady carryin a baby!
Knowin tat our life is in danger & everyone in e place cd be after our life, I oni hesitated split sec & I pulled e trigger!
Bt to my horror, e lady & e baby were innocent! They were nt part of e setup!
Den I woke up fr my dream! Wat a Nightmare!

1st, let's talk abt e guy catagory.
Jun Yang got e higher score, he actually become more prominent towards e later stage of e competition.
His weakness is tat he is too stiff & maybe his small-built..bt overall, he is decent lookin' & his singin' is quite ok..sound a bit like JJ..
Wei Lian's score was lower bt fan base was much much stronger den we expect!
His weakness is his "nose sound" is too strong..though improve alot & sometimes he tend 2 sing wif too much force..
His singin' is nt bad..bt his supposingly major weakness turn out 2 be his major advantage over all e other contestants!
Wheras 4 e gal catagory,
Xin Hui got e highest score! She is e most improved & probably e best of all e guy & gal contestants in term of singin'!
She definitely got e Jue Dui Ge Yi, Jue Dui Hu Tai bt..
e oni thing tat she loses out on which oso made her lost e competition is Jue Dui Zhao Xin!
Kelly may lose out 2 Xin Hui on Jue Dui Ge Yi, Jue Dui Hu Tai bt becos of better look & overall packagin', she won!
Kelly was nt too bad..she was among e best in e earlier stages.
Even when she was involved in e "Fan Shen Zhan", I hv no doubt she will come thru it!
Bt her improvement was slow..I actually felt she actually did worse towards e later of e competition probably becos of e pressure as more is at stake.
Actually 4 e gal catogory, I will choose Kelly..sori Xin Hui..bt I juz felt Kelly will sell more CD den Xin Hui..tat is enough 4 decide who sh be Jue Dui Superstar!
However 4 e Guy Catagory, one way or another Wei Lian is definitely benefitin' fr those "Tong Qin Piao"..so actually is oredi a foregone conclusion on who will be e overall winner..
2 me, Junyang is more marketable..as 4 Wei Lian, oni tis competition lah..he will be another William Hung, short term success..bt I believe tis is oredi a dream cm true 4 him.
As 4 Junyang, his talent hv nt gone unnoticed so..I believe we will c more of him in e future!

Recently I added her in Friendster, after goin' thru her testi..I found tat she was fr Clementi Town Sec & she used 2 help out at a shop tat sell cloth in Bukit Timah Plaza!
Hmm..tis sound familar becos I vividly rem tat my bro, Jacky had a fren fr Clementi Town Sec & she oso helped out at e cloth shop in Bukit Timah Plaza!
After check wif my bro, Jacky & double confirm wif Sherry..they really noe each other!
I've seen tis gal b4 bt tat was abt 10 yrs ago, when me & my bro alwayz went 2 e comic shop at e top floor of Bukit Timah Plaza..bt nw she oredi all grown up liao lah..look so different, of course cannot recognise lah..

Bt..suddenly she told me tat Ah Foo e Sum Bark, one of e most KPO guy I've ever known, asked her whether if I'm attached becos..obviously I was spotted wif a gal accidentally by someone, hahaha!!!

4 those who played football regularly, u will know tat Indian like 2 dribble alot, lots of flick & draggin' of ball..& they r never easy 2 defend against!
It's been crowded at NUS so no choice we got to play 3 teams, one goal out.
I played on e Right Wing for my team & I got 2 assists..my attackin' game was ok, esp my crosses fr e right!..very fast pace game..very tiring bt we were e best so we get 2 stayed on longest, hahaha!!!
Aftertat, we shift 2 e bigger court & we r able 2 let everyone played at e same time, so we play 2 teams.
Tis time I joined e Indian 2 play against my fellow kakis..
Usually I played against them bt tis time I played 4 them & actually helped them 2 beat my own kakis!!!
Tis time I played as a Left Back becos their midfield is oredi very strong & their understandin' wif one another is very good..
I can't rem hw many goals we scored against my kakis bt we didn't concede a goal! Tats hw gd we were defensively!!! Their defence was nvr strong bt wif me & 2 other chinese guy, we shored up e defence & is oni a case of hw many goals we will score as time goes!!! My kakis hv no chance of scorin' wif us in defence, hahaha!!!
Felt "Great" esp after e game, e Indian praised me 4 hvin a gd game!!!
Anyway, I will cont 2 improve on my all round game & my aim is alwayz 2 play better on e nxt game!
..Bt felt "nt so great" after wake up knowin' e result of Liverpool 1st game ended up in goalless away draw wif Middlesborough.
Bt takin' into account our past records against them, is nt so bad result afterall..bt we muz beat Sunderland at Anfield nxt Sat if we wan 2 stay in e title race becos Man U & Arsenal had all won their 1st game of e season..

Yeah!!! EPL is backed!!! How difficult was life w/o EPL!!!
I support Liverpool FC..nw tat they hv won e Champions League "Wat an amazin' game at Instanbul!!!", like all e Pools fan all over e world, is e Premiership tis time!!!
We hv signed
1.Zenden, last season Middlesborough player of e year
2.Reina, last season best keeper in e La Lige
3.Crouch, lanky target man wif surprisingly nice ball control
4.Sissoko, midfield dynamo in e mould of "Patrick Veira"
5.Barragan, young spanish right back 4 e future
& most of all, e most impt signin' "Steven Gerard"!!!
If we cn stayed clear of injuries, improve our away form & wif more consistency, we sh be in Top 4 at least..
we juz nid 2 concentrate on our game & hopin' tat Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal dropped points.
Even if we still dun win e league tis season, at least e future is bright!

It's Partytime!!! cos is Fri mah..bt I almost couldn't make it!!!
Ard 5pm, when i was preparin' 2 do 5S & ready 2 go hm 4 dinner b4 joinin' up wif a few of my best frens Jolin, Charissa, Yuting, Heng Yee 4 clubbin' at MoMo..bt..bt..
Akita, e "alwayz looked blur bt actually act blur oni" advisor, come & tell me abt V2 Fan Noise Problem..I was tinkin', "Oh no! Not again!"..Y alwayz tis kinda timin'!!!
I heard he knew abt tis problem ard 3pm bt oni tell mi when is ard 5pm :(
Luckily, managed 2 solve e problem by 8pm & I quickly rushed hm 4 dinner..gotta pick up Charissa 930pm at SIM leh!
Last week promised 2 pick her up at e same time bt i oso kana last min urgent job & finally couldn't so tis time muz keep promise lah, if nt..oso like tat lah, haha!!!
Finally we r at MoMo!!! (e old SOS)

Music is a gd blend of mix bet Hip Hop, Dance & a little bit of Retro.
Drink charge is standard like all other places, got 1 for 1 b4 10pm.
Crowd is mainly mid 20s..nt very young & nt very old lah..
We really enjoyed ourselves..even though e place was too crowded & too stuffy & hot i felt..
It was since April tat Jolin & Yuting partied wif us..
Jolin was totally enjoyin' herself, like e demon in her was unleashed!!! haha!!!
bt nt so 4 Yuting..she preferred Retro so..nxt time we go Newsroom bah, ok? ;p
When we were supposed 2 go 4 supper..as usual tat "Hello Kitty" chu pattern again, haiz..
So is juz Charissa, Heng Yee & me supper at e Clementi kopithiam opp e Bus Interchange.
I used 2 visit tis kopithiam durin' my sch time in NUS, I liked e "Char Bee Hoon" there..bt
standard dropped liao leh..tink e storeholder oso change, haiz..
So..tis pl is banned fr my supper list!!!

Finally..I've decided 2 start my own Blog, due to "popular demand".. bt actually peer pressure lah, haiz..
Actually b4 i start, i was tinkin' hw sh i write my blog etc..
Writin' was nt a difficult task 4 me, i used 2 write articles 4 my company magazine anyway.
Bt i dun wan my blog 2 turn out too heavy, nor turn out 2 be too personal..
